“Overnight stay”
The room was comfortable and clean. We stay her for one night. Good place to stay close to the Eiffel tower. There are rental bikes close by.
“Immaculate, comfortable, short walk from metro”
The Holiday Inn Porte de Clichy is a little out of the way but easily reached by the metro. Maximum comfort and large sized rooms. Front desk staff was energetic, professional and competent = very helpful and courteous. I stayed near Gard de Est railway station following my stay at the Holiday Inn for more local flavor.
“Well Done Holiday Inn”
we were very satisfied with this hotel. OK it is not central Paris but remember for that pleasure it would cost you a great deal more Euros per night. We didn't feel the location or the area of the hotel was unpleasent in any way, if anything we found the local residents very friendly and helpful especially at the metro station. Paris is a very expensive City, so bare that in mind before you travel there, you can save money on your hotel bill but once you hit the tourist areas ...be prepared to spend and enjoy !!!
“A short brek with kids”
My 2 children and I were on a 4-day trip to Paris and this Hotel worked out very well in terms of cost, comfort and location. It is not very far from the center of Paris and just a 3- minute walk to the train station, Porte de Clichy. You can also get the Metro bus number 54 right in front of thr Hotel which will take you all the way to Gard du Nord where the Eurostar stops. Their buffet breakfast is excellent and free for kids which worked out brilliantly for us. I really recommend this hotel and also the aircondition in our room made it so comformtable to sleep as last week was so warm in Paris.
“Loved Paris”
The hotel was good. I wished we would have gotten something in downtown Paris, not outside of Paris. We thought it would be closer, not. But I have no complaints, we loved Paris
“C'est pas mal. La quartier le soir bof bof.”
C'est un chouette hôtel. Le quartier n'est pas génial. Ne rentrez pas trop tard. Autrement, le personnel est sympa et convivial.
“Holiday Inn Porte de Clichy Paris”
In Paris suburb, of Clichy. Near a Metro station and has easy access to center of Paris. Would be an expensive cab trip to central Paris, willingness to use Metro essential. The suburb of Clichy is filthy. Very few English speaking people on the streets to help with directions. The Hotel staff had no knowledge of the local services in Clichy. Hotel staff spoke English and were polite and helpfuley were able . Their knowledge of Paris and airport directions was limited. Most directions to places, activity s, restaurants was self help. Rooms were clean, no amenities. Beds small and hard. Shower adequate, towel and linen service inadequate. For the "independent" traveler who only uses the room to sleep.
“very good, a bit off the centre”
the hotel was very good, the rooms big and clean, with (almost) everything working in good order. One have to change a couple of Metro lines (or one RER) to get to the central attractions though - or take a slow (45 min+) bus. That said, it is all in zone 1, and public transport is very convenient
“NICE ROOMS”
WE GOT THERE AND THE ROOM WAS NOT READY AT 2 PM, NO BIG DEAL BUT WHEN WE CAME BACK THEY TRIED TO PUT US IN A SMOKING ROOM, WE INSISTED ON NON SMOKING, THE FOOD WAS GOOD THE ONE TIME WE ATE THERE BUT THE STAFF WAS OVERWHELMED BY THE FULL DINING ROOM. WHEN GOING TO CHECK OUT MAKE SURE YOU PRINT A COPY OF THE EXPIDIA LIST OF SERVICES, THEY WANTED TO CHARGE US 24 EUROS PER DAY FOR FREE PARKING. THEY HAPPILY TOOK THE CHARE OFF WHEN I PRODUCED A COPY OF SERVICES THE FACILITY WAS GREAT OTHERWISE, I BLOK FROM THE SUBWAY AND JUST 6 STOPS TO THE EFFIEL TOWER
“close to train system”
We paid for a 2 double bed room for 3 of us and they gave us a room with only 1 double bed and a cot! With no breakfast included this hotel was a bit pricey, it was also not in the best side of town. The rooms were clean and nice, the service was nice to.
