“Decent for the price”
If you're looking for clean and convenient, then this is your hotel. If you're looking for up-to-date decor and amenities, then you won't like it. The pros: great location to downtown Cleveland, fridge in room, clean sheets and bathroom, friendly staff, good bar and happy hour in restaurant. Cons: pool shut down for repairs - I think permanently, 70's decor, ice machines located on every other floor, wi-fi only in lobby - not in room.
“Good Priced hotel”
We went to the Cleveland Clinic they have free shuttle and good price very good option for the stay.
“Fair”
This hotel was okay. Seems to be an older building. Staff was nice and fairly helpful. Room was okay with regard to comfort. TV was older. Bed was fairly firm. There is a restaurant in the hotel which is okay, but the food is relatively expensive considering its quality. I would stay away from the juice machine at the breakfast bar - I got a cup of apple juice from the machine and there were two fruit flies in it.
“Don't expect to sleep”
The hotel is very noisy, with paper-thin walls. The neighborhood is not good. Decor is very dated.
“Decent place in a lousy neighborhood”
I was looking for a low cost room within range of downtown Cleveland, and this was it. The room was fine, quite large actually, and clean if not fancy. Wireless internet worked well in the room. Good range of cable TV channels. Staff and service were fine. Not spectacular, but no problems, and you certainly couldn't expect more for the price. But definitely in a "not nice" part of Cleveland. Parking lot was well very well lit, but not the part of Cleveland you'd want to stroll through at night.
“Ehh hotel”
Efficient. It served it's purpose. I have stayed in worse hotels but I really can't remember when. It was not far from downtown but the neighborhood was a little rugged. It was cheap, simple, and close to the city so it wasn't terrible.
“Not Impressed.”
Grounds around the hotel have to be cleaned and kept orderly. The windows in the lobby were very dirty. Excellent price for the room. Rooms and hallway were fairly clean. The hotel could use a renovation.
“The middle of no where”
The hotel stated it had a restaurant that consisted of Chinese/American food. It was nasty American food owned by Asian people. The bed was so extremely uncomfortable that I only had an 1 1/2 hours of sleep. There were no decent restaurants nearby except for fast food. The continental breakfast was awful. I wouldn't have fed it to a dog. The prices was decent but I would have expected a warm breakfast for a hotel that had a kitchen in it.
“Dirty room”
Hotel forgot to clean my room and they gave me $23.00 refund .
“Not TOO Shabby”
Not as bad as I expected based on previous reviews. Definitely not the RItz but considering how cheap it was, I can't say I was at all disappointed. Also very convenient to have their free shuttle to the Cleveland Clinic and Case Western, and the Healthline bus stop right in front of it. Good bang for your buck if you're visiting the medical centers or somewhere downtown. Just avoid hanging out outside the hotel by yourself at night
