We had to wait to check in an hour after check in time because the rooms were still not clean. We stayed two nights and housekeeping never came to clean our room. Although the staff that was there was very nice and accommodating.They need to hire more people that actually show up and I know that can be difficult and times.

It was a great hotel. Very comfortable. Only complaint was that there is not restaurant on premise, and thenar was closed for some reason on Wednesday. April 10.

Dated property. Needs rehab. Tattered chairs in breakfast area. Breakfast fare average. Uncomfortable couch in room. Room kitchen supplies need replenishment. Although we did not cook in the room, in checking the cabinets, there were no pots, pans or frying pans.

When we arrived two hours after check in the front desk said they had no available rooms clean and they were checking availability of hotels around the area for us. There was 6 other people checking in and were told the same thing. They said the general manager was cleaning rooms as we speak. We were there for the Cavs game and the game was starting in an hour. It was not handled well. I was told since i booked through expedia that they would cancel my reservation and i would have to rebook a hotel on my own and call to figure it out. Also they were not comping us anything for this inconvenience. In the end our room got cleaned after waiting. We were lucky. But it was not handled well. The room was very spacious. It is in a great location to the stadium. I appreciated that the general manager was taking matters in her own hands and cleaning to try to rectify the situation but front desk just didn't handle it well.
Absolutely love this location. So convenient for basketball which is why we stayed here. The staff was great all the way through our trip. Keep up the good work and I will be back soon.

A layer of dust on everything. Toilet leaked onto tile, and had to hold down the handle for the whole flush. HVAC was so loud, it took 20 on the volume to be audible. 2 sugar packet, one creamer packet, 14 salt & pepper packets too for some reason. So much for coffee. Bed felt like stacked cardboard with straw between. Pay for valet, or good luck to you. Typical aged hotel employing too few and too unchecked staff.

Price gouging during special events for the valet parking. Staff didn't really seem to care if we were happy. Front desk -- I was interrupting her from looking at her phone. Staff doesn't speak clearly, just a lazy production line mentality.
The alerts that were set up through my phone to tell us when our room was ready didn't sound until way after we were in the room. The bed didn't face the TV in our room.
The room was nice. The staff just needs to be changed.

This property has wonderful and pleasant personnel.
We had two small problems. There were NO toiletries for the bathroom sink, the sink area was bare. Also, we only had decaf coffee and when I requested at the front desk for regular coffee, they brought 4 packages of decaf. I tried again for regular coffee and there was nothing delivered.

In town for the Cavs game. Great location, in walking distance to Rocket Mortgage Field House. Great options for food nearby. Concierge was a little slow on arrival. They also didn’t text out the link for me to get my car. But other than that, the whole stay was great!

Very friendly staff, room was very big and clean, great free breakfast in the huge and clean eating area. Breakfast options were sausage, eggs, potatoes, muffins, cereal, hard boil eggs, juices, coffee, milk, yogurts, bagels ,and a diy waffle station. Also had a quick toaster if you wanted to toast something

The location can’t be beat. Central to everything. You can walk to the major venues. Lots of nightlife all around.
The building is historic and charming. The staff were AWESOME and made out trip. We booked the double king suite. I have to say - the room was so filthy. Disgusting. Food caked on walls. Tons of dust and hair on the baseboards and bathrooms. And grimy, dirty carpet. Just gross.
You’re paying for the location and that’s about it.

I've experienced better, but also worse.
NO mention of the water being turned off by the city the next morning until AFTER I checked in and saw the notice in the elevator. Would have been nice to have the option of going to a different hotel that was going to have water to shower with. Rooms are spacious, but bathroom was teeny...barely enough space to turn around and close the door. Vanity light fixture wasn't working properly. The hotel is dated and even though I checked in after 4PM there were piles of dirty linens in the hallways leading to my room. ADA accessibility was a joke...good thing I wasn't in a wheelchair on this trip.

When I first arrived my room had a broken closet door and hair all in the bed on/under the pillows and the ceiling was chipping so they gave me a different room, that was one was cleaner but it didn’t have a pull out bed so that inconvenienced my stay the wall was falling apart and it looked as if someone punched holes into them my mirror was also broken but the staff was really nice and helpful about the situations if I were to go back it would be because of the staff

What I liked: The location is close to everything we wanted to visit that night. The hotel has great character as it was a hotel built many years ago. The chopping mall in the center of it was cool to look at.
What I didn't like: First impressions are so important. "We charge $45 to valet park your car and we have no agreement with any other parking lots and don't know what they charge" FU

Our room had a king bed plus a pull out couch. We were on our grandsons adventure and needed to use the couch. When we went to use it we found there was no bedding in the room AND when we went to pull it out it was broken. The staff was notified and immediately brought up bedding and called for their maintenance. After a half hour with no one responding, we went back to the front desk and they began searching for a roll-away. Sadly there were none available.
The front desk staff did a good job in finding us another similar room. The couch was ok. The only issue was that it had not been cleaned underneath for a long time. But at this point we just made it work.
The staff was very responsive. The motel is older which is not an issue. Just could have been a little cleaner.
It is located in a great spot.
