Property was under major renovation at the time. Property did send a message that many hotel features were unavailable. But I am more disappointed that Expedia didn't tell me that BEFORE I booked. Hotel may be quite nice by the time you are reading this.

We do have this posted to Expedia's website and all other booking sites including our brand website. We are in the transitioning phase of converting from a Country Inn and Suites to a Holiday Inn Express and Suites. Disappointing

While there was a notice that the hotel is being renovated, it was more than expected. Hopefully new beds are plan of the plan. All said, the staff was great.

We are in the middle of converting over from a Country Inn & Suites to a Holiday Inn Express. We are working diligently to get our property completed. We booked in error, by clicking on a link for the (defunct) Holiday Inn Express. There was no warning about the extensive construction -- windows out, raw cement floor and wooden stair frames -- until out non-refundable booking was completed.

Good Morning Kathy,First of all, I would like to thank you for your stay. We do have posted on Expedia's website that our property is undergoing a renovation. We are working with each and every guest to make them as comfortable as possible during the construction process. Although you booked a non-refundable reservation did you contact the property at all to try to cancel? We are allowing guests to cancel with no penalty if they decide that they are not comfortable with the renovations. I would like to apologize for any inconvenience that you may have experienced during your stay. We do appreciate your feedback and hope that if your travels bring you back to our area that you would give us another chance to exceed your expectations once we are branded as the Holiday Inn Express and Suites.

the picture you see is a pool, not available, because this is a construction site with room! I got an email stating it was uderconstruction when I was already on my way, and stated that I was going to be able to use other amenities. when I arrived this is in the middle of the road when I said something I was told I could leave ( 8pm) and I would get a refund. Alone with a kid not a good idea. The room was nice, but corridors smell bad, dust. the personal was super nice. but literally this is a construction site with rooms.

We do have posted on Expedia that our property is undergoing a renovation and that we are not offering any amenities at this time. The renovation does cause a bit of a dusty environment. We are doing our best to keep this to a minimum and make our guests feel comfortable and welcome while we are transitioning from a Country Inn and Suites to a Holiday Inn Express and Suites. We are offering every guest that walks into our property the opportunity to leave without penalty because we do realize that this kind of environment is not suitable for just anyone. I do apologize that you did not see the information about us being under construction while booking your reservation with us. We hope that if your travels bring you back to our area you would give us another chance to exceed your expectations. Our stay was during renovations. It was disappointing to find out all amenities were not available and there was no reflection of that in cost of the stay. We chose to stay since we arrived late in the day. Difficult to recommend the hotel or the chain when there customer care is lacking.

Good Morning,Thank you for taking the time to write and leave us a review. Unfortunately, during the renovation process we had to shut down our public areas in order to get them remodeled. Once the renovations are complete, we will be offering many different amenities such as a full hot breakfast, indoor heated pool, 24-hour fitness center etc. All of this will be brand new and is completely necessary to modernize our property. We hope that if your travels bring you back to our area you would give us another chance once we are finished with the renovations.
