Hotel was average- room was comfortable… We did notice how well you could hear anything going on in other peoples room then further notice that’s because there are 2 inch gaps under all of the room doors. We ended up putting towels down to give us a sense of privacy… “breakfast” was muffins, bagels and juice. Overall decent stay and served its purpose for why we were there. Side note- Grumps burgers and the Mexican restaurant down the street were AMAZING!!!

The toilet was not working ,one staff was kind enough to come and try and fix it but in the morning it was not working. The refrigerator was not cleaned out from the prior guess. The toilet was not cleaned. I complained and they did not refund me any money for the inconvenience. I had to drive 4 hrs to my home before using a bathroom. I wish i can submit pictures of the toilet. However the night staff were very friendly and helpfull. They need to hire a new cleaning crew.

Breakfast was bad.
The breakfast was not good. Only waffles or cereal. No juice. I went to McDonalds. La Quinta will be my last choice to stay because of worthless breakfast.

Not up to standards of other LaQuinta’s I’ve stayed in. Very limited staff, tv did not work in original room (we were moved to a room with a working tv), limited breakfast, “latch” on the closet door was a strip of masking tape. Looked like an unfinished property that was still being worked on.

We had an event the following day. We only rented a room for access to the pool. The morning we were leaving the website said the pool was closed. I called Expedia to cancel our reservation. No one would cancel it for us. I realize we were past the cancelation time. I believe they should honor our cancelation due to the circumstances. We only rented the room for the pool. If you don’t have an amenity available that you offer then someone should be able to cancel at any time.

Smoke alarm removed from ceiling. No full size mirror like in kids room. It had been ripped from wall. No coffee maker in room. No coffee available in lobby. No water pressure in shower. Breakfast shut down at 9am on weekend. Overall dirty in walkways and elevator.

The gentleman at the front desk was trying to correct a problem from an employee earlier that day and wanted me to continue to wait. I asked if he could just get me settled in and he did. The room smelled moldy and humid with the air conditioning on. The pillows were horrible and the breakfast was not good. For the price that was paid I would suggest purchasing better pillows and improving your breakfast menu.

All in all it was fine for a night stay. The gotel is just very old and dated. Our room smelled like it had been smoked in but it was comfortable enough. It was clean and that mattered most.

Disaster
Window blind was destroyed upon entrance to room, discovering the parking lot lights coming on. That light projects thru Window. Large rip in outdated carpet in front of lounge chair. Bathroom vent is worthless. Towels were worse than the roughest sandpaper. When I we t bacj down to the counter to inform, no workers to be found. I deserve a full refund. This establishment should be permanently shut down!!!

I don't see what relevance the property questions have. More importantly, I want to comment on other issues, beginning with the shower/tub diverter which was barely working. Breakfast did not have some of the things we were accustomed to such as eggs and sausage, but we did enjoy the waffles. The door lock to our room malfunctioned with the key card. The wi-fi was inadequate, so I was unable to use my lap top.

This is our 2nd time to stay at this location. We travel to Cleburne about once a month to visit family. Pros: - Reasonably priced. - Rooms are very clean, even the carpet. The carpet in the room appeared to be new, or had been very well cleaned. - Rooms are larger than standard hotel rooms. - We have stayed here twice and have seen NO bugs as some have reported. - Staff was very nice and friendly to us. - Lobby was clean. - Dairy Queen and some other burger restaurant just a few steps away. - Located close to several stores. - Beds were clean and comfortable. - Mini-fridge and microwave in the room. They do have a breakfast but it's more of a light, continental-type breakfast. Only cereals, breads, waffles, milk, coffee, juices, fruit, yogurt. There may have been some pastries, as well. That is not a deal breaker for us because we travel a lot and always bring our own food to keep in our room, but my two 16-yr old boys were able to get their belly filled with what was there. There is no coffee pot in the room but there was coffee in the breakfast room. Pool was closed due to maintenance. I've seen other reviews that are not good reviews for this hotel and I really don't get where they are comjng from. This is our 2nd stay and both times have been pleasant stays. There is some wear and tear inside this hotel, but it's nothing major. I guess it depends on what one is looking for in a hotel room. This one works for us. We will definitely stay here again.

Property was well lit. Parking lot was clean. Plenty of parking spaces on a Friday night. Room was clean except for a large hole and tears in the carpet. Bed was hard as plywood. Quiet area, no traffic noise.

I was a little nervous about booking here, after reading all the reviews about dirty rooms but, that was not our experience at all. We were there for two nights; we booked a double room. Our check-in was easy and quick. The lobby was clean. Our room was clean, and bigger than most hotel rooms. Had a desk/office chair, plus another lounge chair. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean, which is the most important thing for me. The carpet was fairly clean. Everything was dusted. There was no coffee pot in the room but, that was no big deal, because there's coffee downstairs in the morning. The breakfast was decent - it wasn't anything extravagant but, it was enough variety that a person should be able to get full. There was sausage, eggs, cereals, juices, milk, waffles, toast and a few more items. It was a convenient location; Dairy Queen is right next door. The stores were close by, within 5-10 minutes. The area is quiet and appears safe. The staff was all very friendly. For the price, which is reasonable, we were pleased with our room and we would definitely stay again.

Depends what you're looking for. We needed a clean place to sleep that was close to the Cleburne Sports Complex. This worked for us. Overall, the room requires some basic tlc: closet door and toilet paper dispenser missing. The room had a mildewy odor and looming dampness which was hard to ignore. Breakfast didn't matter much to us but if it did, their's left a lot to be desired. Options were likewarm coffee, juice, two cereal options, basic pastries/bread, yogurt, apples/oranges, eggs, and waffles. The staff was very nice. Okay stay but would expect to pay 80 not 130 for this type of stay.

Check in was easy. Front desk person was very robotic. Recited all the rules and information at a very monotone fast pace. It was difficult to actually understand what was being said. The deposit for incidentals seems a bit excessive. The room was ok. Beds are not comfortable and there is a lot of road noise. It takes a while to get the water to get hot. The room was clean and suited our needs for this quick stay.

The staff were nice and helpful. I wasn't too impressed with the breakfast. They really didn't have any protein options, so I never bothered to eat breakfast there. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel could use some better lighting. It was fairly dimly lit in the entrance and hallways. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would choose to stay here again based off of the room and price.
