“Oak Wood Arms makes last night memorable”
the rooms were well set up. We were provided a "family room" with three twins and one full providing plenty of room for our family of five so one of the kids didn't have to do a sleep-over in their grandparents' room. When I couldn't get the TV wakeup call service to work, they sent a technician to our room who, after also not being able to reconcile the problem, assured me a 5:45 a.m. wakeup call and, sure enough, that call come promptly at 5:45 a.m. The people of Ireland are just so helpful and wonderful everywhere we went and the Oak Wood Arms hotel was no different. A wonderful last night in Ireland.
“Shannon's best hotel-close to airport”
Great location for Shannon airport, beautiful, clean, big rooms and bathroom. Shower was strong and hot. Bar had excellent seafood chowder. Would definitely return.
“Good Place”
We needed a place to stay just for one night leaving Shannon airport in the morning. This was close to the airport and exceeded our expectations. Large pleasant rooms, friendly staff, very clean and good pub to eat in. You could just come to Ireland and stay here if there weren't so much else to do!

“Oak Wood Arms best for preflight in Shannon”
I was travelling with my elderly Mom and aunt for a wedding in Ireland and booked this hotel by the Shannon airport prior to our retun flight to the US. This is a great location with a restaurant/pub on sight, nice room and clean bath. A real bonus is all the flight history and photos throughout the hotel. The front desk was very efficient in getting our morning cab to the airport.

Outstanding hotel and great staff. The bartenders in the hotel pub were friendly and the reception area staff were very informative.
“Fantastic pleasant suprise”
What a marvellous surpise after a long day's travelling. The hotel is ideally situated next to the airport ready for an early morning deaprture. the hotel was modern, beautifully clean, well furnished and welcoming staff. We ate in the bar and can honestly say this was the best evening meal we had in three days during our stay in Ireland - it certainly wasnt standard pub grub. I can highly recommend this hotel
“A delight for the eye”
I really enjoyed the decor in the public areas. There were stained glass windows and furnishings that looked like they came from a cathedral. There was a lot of woodwork and paneling. Some of the artwork was airplane-related (since the hotel is near an airport), and those were interesting too- there was even a picture of the Spruce Goose. There was always something interesting to see around the next corner. We came to breakfast rather late. We were eating when the staff came to clear away the buffet. But before the staff cleared everything away at the buffet, one lady asked us "Is there anything you'd like more of, before it's all gone?" Very nice!
