Grasshopper Glasgow is unique in that it's an hotel within an existing old building. It's super clean, well run and ideally placed right in the very centre of Glasgow. It's within walking distance of all the train stations and bus station. It is in the middle of the busy city surrounded by shops, Street food eating, restaurants, bars and all of the city's history. A gem in the centre of a wonderful city. Can't fault it

This was our second stay in the Grasshopper. Room and bathroom were spotless. High quality bedding giving an excellent night's sleep.. Toiletties provided. Lots of little extras. Staff friendly and helpful. Security door staff on Duty. Downside was only teabags on inroom tray. No coffee, sugar or milk provided. Overall stay was very good and would stay here again

I had a fantastic stay at this place. The place is right next to the glasgow central station which made it very convenient to get there. The room is extremely clean. The host was an absolute delight! 10 on 10 recommend this place. Would definitely stay again when i come to glasgow!

Quite difficult to find property as on 6th floor of building. Very poor guidance at reception on arriving. Quite small room but very comfortable bed . Breakfast facility's very restricted with purely self service. Very polite girls in attendance, but lacking experience to clear tables and provide assistance. Waited 10 minutes for receptionist on checkout.

My friend and I enjoyed this property greatly. It's hard to find something so clean, friendly, and accommodating in such a central location. Elizabeth even printed us out a list of restaurant suggestions in the area that helped us a great deal for our brief stay. Would definitely stay here again as it's a steal for the price. The free pastries and ice cream was a plus for sure!

The hotel is unassuming from the outside, and with construction all around, I was a little worried. The sign outside is small. The location is awesome, right outside the train station in downtown Glasgow. When you enter the building, you have to go up to the 6th floor to get to the hotel…different. Once you get there, the reception area has cakes, which is a nice touch. The room was fairly spacious (I got upgraded to a double), though it looked a bit austere. Everything was clean, and the shower was nice. The TV only had a few channels, which was frustrating because there was a soccer match I wanted to watch. Breakfast was a buffet. The fruit salad was really nice, the hot options were fine, but the pastry was a day or two old. There was a bit of street noise at night, and construction noise in the morning. Overall it was a good stay for the price, and the location is super convenient.

A great, quiet hotel in the city centre. Clean, lovely rooms, helpful staff, and a really nice sitting room to enjoy fresh coffee and cake in.
