“A wonderful place to find....”

This was an extraordinary place to stay at! Not the easiest to get to but once found up in the hills, the views and accommodation were outstanding. We had our own terrace overlooking the town & surroundings which was lovely no matter what time of the day/night and private! The furnishings were also very tasteful and the food was delicious.

“A great view and nice people”

Arianna Hill House is located in the hills above La Spezia, which comes with a great view of the harbor and marble cliffs beyond. We were just going to use it as a home base for Cinque Terre, but now we wish we had added a night to just enjoy the comfort and beauty. Fernando and Alissa (sorry if my spelling is wrong) greeted us warmly and were extremely helpful. They helped us plan our Cinque Terre visit, putting out our own personal early breakfast, and once we were back at the hotel for the evening they helped us out by chilling a bottle of wine that we had bought. The room was very comfortable, with a nice big shower, plenty of space, and lots of comfort. Highly recommended!

“A good choice to visit Cinque Terre and Portovenere”

Stayed there for 2 nights last week. So glad we found it at last minute. The place has beautiful ocean view. We received the warmest greetings and really friendly services the whole time. The facility is brand new. The room is neat and clean. We were worry about the drive up there but it turned out good since the owner placed a clear sign on the roadside, which is very helpful. The drive to the train station going to Cinque Terre is about 5 minutes. We followed the owner's instruction and got free parking close to the train station. It's a place that offers travelers a pleasant stay and travel experience. Definitely recommend it.

“Wow!”

This is a brand new B&B with an amazing view of La Spezia. We took the more expensive room and it was well worth it as it had a small patio to the side with an amazing view. The owners were so friendly and helpful and even drove us to town on one occasion. You won't find nicer people and accomodations anywhere else in Italy.

“Friendly, helpful, breath taking view”

We arrived at the hotel quite early and the room was not ready. The owner made us coffee while we waited. She then helped us with the places to visit. Really took care of us personally. The hotel is up on a hill with a panoramic view of the city. The hotel is brand new and tastefully is furnished, very spacious. There is also a large common area and a patio. If you visit, go for more than one day so you can unwind and enjoy the scenary.

“Its too love!”

Arianna is a modern, newly constructed B&B with a beautiful view of the Gulf of La Spezia (aka, Gulf of Poets), and the owners were gracious hosts. Get detailed directions, however, because it's not easy to find.

un séjour trés agréable dans ce petit coin de paradis italien. La vue que la rade est imprenable , Les hotes sont d'une gentillesse extrême, toujours là pour que votres séjour se passe le mieux. La maison est superbe alliant le modernisme et l'authentique , propre et au calme . Hotel à recommander sans probleme, un seul soucis : difficile à trouver sans GPS .

Arianna Hill House and host Fernando (and lovely wife) exceeded our expectations. We were greeted everyday with genuine warmth and friendliness. The facilities are of high quality and kept clean. Thank you Fernando for making our stay and very pleasant and memorable one. M & M

“Nice but.....”

One thing to keep in mind is that this B&B is located on a hill only accessible via narrow roads with hairpin turns with minimal safety barriers. Getting over that experience was the first step. My wife was so stressed out by the roads that she would cover her eyes whenever we approached a curve. However, once we arrived at the facility, the view was absolutely fantastic. In fact, one evening we even had wine, cheese and crackers out on the terrace and truly enjoyed the beautiful view. The staff were extremely helpful when they were around. Since this is a B&B once all guests were checked in and breakfast was over, the owners would lock up and go up the driveway to their own home. The room was fine but since the windows face the mountain or the view of the harbor, there is no need for privacy on the window coverings. However, forget about sleeping after daybreak. The room is so bright that we ended up taking the light bedspread to use as draperies in order to block out the morning light. All in all, if you don't mind being so high on the hill, this is a lovely place to spend a few days.
