Disappointed Stay
We were very disappointed in the Comfort Inn overall. The staff was very friendly but we are accustomed to Holiday Inn Express and this was definitely not at that level of amenities, there was no elevator or work out treadmill etc. The breakfast was overcooked fried eggs, no boiled eggs even to offset this and no one was overseeing the breakfast which went along with everything else we felt about the amenities.

Adequate hotel with good rates.
The hotel is clean and relatively new. The walls are thin, however, so if you have noisy neighbors you will hear them. Not a luxury hotel, but will give you a comfortable night.

Great rate
Nice hotel with great location near Lebanon for annual Carriage parade, easy access to major highways and shopping areas. Very nice for price rate and short overnight stay.

Description says they offer roll away beds. I requested one when booking. When my crew arrived to check in they were told they do not offer roll aways there. Very disappointing.

So bad we could not stay the second night.
We had to leave early because the room condition was so bad. Clearly a smoking room that was sold as non-smoking. the hotel was old and not kept in good condition. Nothing looked anywhere close to the pictures online.

It looked like renovation was in process, which was good, but there was no elevator which made it difficult with luggage. Also, the exhaust fan in the bathroom rattled which came on every time the light was turned on.

The staff helpfulness makes this place.
Very few places have I gone to where the staff has been more friendly and helpful. For example, when Expedia messed up the reservation, the staff member helped me fix everything with minimal headache. When I asked where a good place to eat was, he not only told me about his personal experiences of places to eat, he also told me about things in the area to go do, asked where I was going the next day and told the probable best route, and printed out selected maps for the important places. A few times during the stay I was asked if everything was okay and that if there was anything they could do to make the stay better they would do it. The place is good to, it is next to a wooded area and is relatively quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a good place to sleep.

Pay a little more and stay somewhere else
Booked a non smoking room. Room reeked of smoke, although we were told no one was smoking in there. Must have been located near break area outdoors or next to a smoking room. Beds were clean and reasonably comfortable. Room was extremely outdated but we were there for a total of 10 hours while visiting Kings Island so that wasn't an issue. Went down for breakfast, food was not very good, hard and rubbery sausage and eggs patties were the same shape and consistency as the sausage. Man who was carrying the food tray to the eating room was coughing and looking very upset, obviously didn't care about his appearance to customers. It made us stop eating and we left immediately. Price wasn't even that cheap, would not stay again.

Clean, despite renovations notice
The front desk person was very helpful and courteous. When he assigned our room, I asked about an elevator. He said there wasn't one, and then changed our room to a first floor unit. Very grateful for that! Our room was clean and neat. Breakfast buffet was good. We will probably stay there again.

Great hotel, but conditioner was off in 90 degrees
We liked our stay, could have been better, since it was 90 degrees outside on July 25, 2015, and the room was extremely hot, because the air conditioner was off. Took a long time to cool down. New policy to keep them off until guest turned on needs to be re-evaluated. Free breakfast was great. Quiet and only 3 miles from Kings Island.

No Bathroom Lights nor Light bulbs
The light bulbs, upon our arrival at 10pm, in the bathroom were burned out and the hotel had no spares. The hotel clerk took me to the one room that hadn't checked in yet and I had to climb up and get light bulbs out of the other room's bathroom and I had to go install them myself. They found some guy to go buy light bulbs at Walmart. The last guest to check in would have no light bulbs in his bathroom. Also currents were discgusting.

I'll find another place next time.
It was OK. Being close to Kings Island was the only good thing. The pool was VERY cloudy and needs up keep. They have one person working in the morning, so it takes them awhile to restock breakfast and they only have one waffle iron. Do NOT get too close to the walls in the room. They've been cheaply patched in spots.

Staff was friendly and helpful but we got a room that had dingy, gross carpeting as well as a shower that had curtains too short for the tub, which led to water leaking all over the bathroom floor. Also the tub didn't drain well at all. The staff said they were in the middle of replacing the carpeting throughout the hotel but seems like they waited a few years too long to replace it all. Pretty gross. Also parking had barely enough spots as we came back late one night and had to park barely fitting behind a dumpster.

Makes you wonder about being too cheap.
Room was not refreshed to well. Security of room was not all that well. One day, was able to push the door and walk right in after hotel staff did what they called cleaning.

It was ok
Pros: The continental breakfast was good with a decent selection of food. The beds were comfy with lots of pillows. WiFi worked. Pool was really warm. Good location, minus the crazy uphill driveway to get out. New hallway carpeting looks nice. Cons: our bathroom floor was sticky by toilet so we put towels down on the floor, dead bugs behind the toilet, bathroom walls were half-painted a new grey color. Pool sitting area was full of dead bugs, and the plastic chairs and tables were dirty/sticky. I think they recently painted the pool area, but not sure if it was the right type of paint since some of the paint would stick to the bottom of my feet and actually peel off the floor. Lots of ants outside of the building and in pool area.

Overall this will be a very acceptable hotel, but they are ion the middle of complete renovations right now, so it's not at it's best. The reno's will make it quite nice, but they have to clean up some of the small details. It looks like they didn't hesitate to spend considerable money with good intentions. We would stay there again if our travels bring us that way.

Needs renovation
Very run down hotel off the beaten path. Didn't want to walk around bare foot. You would do better to choose a different hotel in the area. Not worth the lower price.

Rooms were dusty and musty. There was never anyone at the front desk. We went to our breakfast the next morning and EVERYTHING was hard, stale, and cold with bugs flying around the food. I could have thrown the muffins and put a hole in the dry wall. I had to call the front desk while I was standing in front of the front desk in order to get milk brought to the breakfast area for the cereal (only thing I would let my kids eat due to the storage containers the cereal was kept in), however the milk never arrived. I was told that I will be there in a minute, I am on the second floor. I honestly do not know that I ever saw an employee after I checked in and I had to ring the bell five times to get someone to come and check me in. Not a good experience at all. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE or bring your own vacuum and food.

Customer Service needs work
Everything was outdated. Our toilet would not stop running and front desk expect us to stick our hands in the toilet every time to stop it. And how they fixed it was by telling us to push the handle down slowly. Didnt offer us another room. First time i have been so upset over a room.

The room was comfortable but needed some attention. Patchwork in the bathroom had not been painted and the toilet wobbled. There were a lot of options for breakfast, but some foods were bland. The gravy and the sausage links had not taste at all.

Sadly, with just a bit of effort, this could be a nice hotel; however, upon arrival, we asked to be on the first floor. They accommodated, but the room they gave us was obviously being worked on. It appeared they were making some improvements but in a messy way. The tub and sink had plaster in them and I informed the front desk when we left for dinner. Upon returning, they had taken the bath mat and soap off the tub floor, but neglected to clean up the plaster! There was an annoying blinking light (florescent) in the breakfast area that could have been fixed in less than 10 minutes. The food tasted stale and the coffee was military-like. Water fountains in the hallway were dirty. Yuck! Bottom line, beds were clean and OK-comfortable. With just a little effort, it could be a nice hotel. Under current conditions, it was tolerable, but barely.

The room itself wasn't too bad. The bed was comfortable and the tv was good with tons of channels. Wi-fi was pretty decent. My only complaint is the pool...it is tiny and shallow, and the water was extremely murky...you won't want your children in there. The pool room itself was way too hot and stuffy, and the pool towels are teeny tiny and super scratchy. Overall bad pool experience, don't go here if you are wanting a place to swim.

OK for the price, but not 3 stars
The room was very hot when we arrived, and it did not cool off quickly. Bathroom and shower were fine. Bed was comfortable, but there was lots of small damage to the room and halls. On dresser drawer was completely broken. Location was close to Kings Island and wi-fi was good. The free breakfast was running out when we got there, which was an hour before it was supposed to be over. Staff was very friendly, but it wasn't enough to make up for the other shortcomings.

The lobby looked awesome, but once you ventured farther it was a mess. Couldn't see the bottom of the pool, the upstairs hallway was hot hot hot. Our room had a musty smell. Ceiling tiles by the breakfast room were moldy and some were missing. Looks like they may be trying to update but it needs a lot of work.

The pictures are not accurately depicted on the site. Old and very dirty. Made a complaint and there was no manager on duty to address or resolve the issues. Will NEVER recommend this hotel.

Dear Guest, You are correct. The pictures on the our expedia page site do not reflect the property and the rooms. However, the pictures are old. Since those pictures were taken, we have painted our exterior of the building, renovated the lobby and replacated the breakfast room from our lobby to a designated room with more space and sitting. Also, the bedding in the pictures are wrong as well. We replaced the bedding earlier this year as well. We will update the pictures as soon as we are finished with our remaining renovations. Good hotel for the money
Family stay overnight after a long day at Kings Island. Hotel was not far from park. We stay here last year and could see some new renovations on lobby. Overall this wa a good hotel for the money.

No elevator in hotel
Had booked a non smoking room with two beds for the family to stay in for a trip to King's Island. My son is in a wheelchair, and we were not able to occupy the room we were booked in because the hotel does not have an elevator. We had to switch to a smoking room on the ground floor. Ice machine was broken and vending options were not great. Room was clean and comfortable, but the hotel in general was not what I was expecting based on other reviews.
