Rooms and Pools

Pros: Location: The closeness to the park and the abilty to get back and forth to park without having to pay to pack the car. the stores and eatery places.
Cons: Everything, there are just to many items to mention. The whole hotel needs to be remodeled, better yet tore down and rebuild. It was just that bad.
The carpets in both rooms had big spots all over them. There was a hold in the wall and the wall was pushed in. The walls were dirty. When we pulled the bedding back to go to bed there was no fitted bottom sheet, the mattress was unbeliveable, so we didn't get much sleep the first night. The sink was plugged up and the whole handle moved back and forth making it hard to turn on and off. We did go to the front desk and talked to the staff, they were very understanding, telling us they knew about the carpets, they sent someone to unplug the sink and put on a fitted sheet. But the uncleanliness off the room couldn't be helped and made my stay very unenjoyable. I would have changed hotels if I could have. The pool area was also so dirty and unkept. There were no towels, the pool was not clean, and the area around the pool need attention.

took forever to check in. Outside of the main concourse, the entire facility is run down and not kept up with. there is mold everywhere including underneath the ice machines. the pool looks like that hasn't been cleaned or updated in a decade. pool water was filthy in both the pool and the hot tub. upon going out onto our balcony, there were shards of glass from a broken bottle all over the place because it was not cleaned. the toilet had someone else's dinner from the night before all over the inside of it. the bar on the main concourse is very nice. I would definitely look into one of the newer hotels right there on the street that offer a shuttle as well.

Hotel close to King's Island.

Pros: The rates were fair.
Cons: The hotel needs updated/remodeled.
Location: Real close to King's Island and good restaurants.
This hotel is not in good condition at all. The carpets are stained, the room was in bad condition.

Pros: SHUTTLE WAS ON TIME AND DRIVERS VERY FRIENDLY
NO WASH CLOTHS IN RM. TO START (WAITED 20 MIN. TO TAKE A SHOWER), THIS WAS AFTER WE FOUND OUT THERE WAS NO BATH TOWELS AT POOL SIDE, (WATER AND POOL ROOM COLD), HOT TUBE WATER WAS A BROWN COLOR (SCARY), TO END IT THE EXPERIENCE WE THOUGHT THE ROOM NEXT TO US WAS BEING ROBBED AROUND 4 AM, CALLED FRONT DESK "O" IT WAS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!

NEEDS SOME CLEANING!

Pros: The staff was nice and helpful.
Cons: They need to update this complete hotel, being right across the road from Kings Island I thought that it would be ok, but boy was I wrong!
THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE. BUT THE ROOM WAS ATROCIOUS, NEVER HAVE I SEEN SUCH DIRTY CARPET ,It LOOKED LIKE IT HADN'T BEEN CLEANED IN QUITE SOME TIME, if ever.I do not recommend this hotel.

Convenient to KI. Room needed deep cleaning or remodel. Carpet was nasty, grout in shower was mold stained, one bed was missing blanket, flat sheets instead of fitted wouldn't stay on bed, not enough washcloths provided. Had an adventure trying to find the ice machine. Kids loved the indoor pool. I might stay again.

Friends booked this hotel and we wanted to stay where they were. We got there late on a rainy Friday night and heard complaints in the lobby about cleanliness. Extreme reasons kept us there one night but we checked out the next day and drove back home. 40 years ago it was a great place, now it is old and dreary, carpets were dirty, towels were stained, and it smelled. I would not recommend this place to anyone! Once the sun dawned, I never sat down and couldn't wait to leave.

Old, not updated, and dirty hotel.

Pros: There were no bugs in the room. The sheets on the bed appeared clean. The front desk staff were kind. Free shuttle to and from KI all day long.
Cons: New carpet, updated bathrooms, fresh coat of paint inside and outside. Clean the pool. Clean the hot tub. Clean the tile and ceiling of pool area.
Location: This hotel was very close to Kings Island and offered a free shuttle to and from KI. The hotel was very close to nice restaurants like Ruby Tuesday.
This place was horrible. There were large stains all over the carpet. This place is really old and no updates have been done. Old fixtures and counter tops in the bathroom. The carpeting was so gross I wouldn't walk on it with my bare feet. I took my kids to the indoor pool which was a large pool but was filthy. The tile around the outside of the pool was dirty and had crud and leaves on it. The tile inside the pool had a ring of black gunk all the way around it. The hot tub was working but the water smelled. When you looked up to the roof there was mold and gunk all over the ceiling. We were staying one night in this place and I would never go back. All the entrances are on the outside. The entry doors are filthy. There was broken and dirty patio furniture outside most entrances. I don't know how this place passes a State Board of Health inspection.

Pros: Restaurant on premises, outdoor facilities, and the staff.
Cons: Fans in bathrooms and décor needs to be updated.
Location: Very convenient to Kings Island, restaurants and Cincinnati.
Hotel staff were very friendly and worked to accommodate our needs. Convenient to have the shuttle bus to and from Kings Island. Only downside, no fans in bathrooms and rooms were outdated.
