Location: River walk, bus and trolley tours across the street.
Our river view was amazing! We had a double queen room which very roomy. The decor looked new and modern. The beds were very comfy. We would definetly stay here again.

Nice central hotel, shame about the wifi

Posted 22-Aug-2014
Pros: Central, clean, comfortable
Cons: Definately the WiFi.
The good things - very central, good, clean rooms, lovely bed, great shower. The bad things - the free wifi to your room was totally unuseable. Not good enough.

comfortable stay

Posted 20-Aug-2014
Pros: Comfortable, nice location, helpful staff.
Cons: Stronger staff presence outside hotel in the evening. 2 young adults in our party were harassed and intimidated by vagrant while sitting out front.
Location: Within walking distance to Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier and nice view of the River.
We were greeted and helped by staff immediately upon exiting our cab. We did not have to wait for a room although we were hour plus ahead of check in time. The double queen room was large, comfortable and clean. Staff was helpful without being pushy. We declined room with a view of river because of additional cost, but view of city was fine.

Average Hotel on Chicago Riverfront

Posted 20-Aug-2014
Pros: The position in Chicago downtown was great with pretty much all of the attractions at walking distance.
The hotel was OK in general. Not perfect for some few reasons. First of all the elevators were out for service for one day (I spent 5 days up there) cause of a general failure. Some other small aspects I didn't like that much especially in comparison to other hotels. Let's indicate some of them: the buttons disposition inside the elevator was a little confusing (call me picky but I wasn't the only one noticing it), there wasn't a daily mineral water refill in the room (unless you asked for it), the behavior of one guy at the Concierge was a little rude to me (I asked if they had some kind of shuttle service to the airport. Of course they don't. Then I asked if he could call a cab for me..."Sorry we don't use to make reservations but you can reserve something on the internet.."

Waterfront luxury hotel

Posted 19-Aug-2014
Excellent experience, very friendly staff, great location and luxurious room with a beautiful view of waterfront that is right across the street to walk down to and enjoy. Smack in the middle of downtown so plenty of eating places and shopping at walking distance.

Chicago Wyndham

Posted 18-Aug-2014
I was traveling from Minneapolis to Pittsburgh and needed a midway overnight stop. Chicago suited that need. It is a challenge to arrive to this unknown downtown area from the highway, dependent on GPS input. The hotel is well situated: waterfront property across from Trump tower with tour busses and boats at the doorstep. Parking is $60.00/night. Unloading/loading was tight...a circular entry would help. Cars were at the curb three deep, and pedestrians blocked the sidewalk and exit/entry port. It was hard to locate a valet to take charge of my vehicle. Hotel staff was fine. I chose the river side, 16th floor, for a good view. Comfy beds, lots of space. Attractions and shops/restaurants everywhere. Reasonable cost. I would dtay here again

Great location! In the center of it all.

Posted 16-Aug-2014
Pros: The views and location of this hotel are the best. Walking, using the Metra, going on boat tours and using the "hop on hop off" buses, all can be done
Cons: Our shower stall could use new caulking around the base.
The hotel was great but be weary of the call from the concierge advising you to come an pick up your "complimentary gift". When I went to pick it up it turn out that we had received 2 Visa cards with a money value between $100 and $1,000.00 and we would also be able to pick a free trip from a list a many locations. So in order to receive these gifts we had to go to the 21st floor and see the personal there. When I asked the concierge if this was a "selling presentation" he told me yes and so I declined the package. I'm disappointed that the hotel would " lured" us downstairs under a false pretense of receiving a " complimentary gift". I would have preferred if the hotel would have called us and invited us to a sales presentation with the possibility of receiving gifts afterward but the way this was done was too sneaky.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Chicago

Posted 16-Aug-2014
We spent six nights in this hotel with my family. A wonderful experience! Room was clean and beautiful, the location is just perfect. We will return to this hotel next year!
