“Great Value”
We recently stayed at the Waverton for five nights. The hotel staff was fantastic throughout our stay. The hotel is older and the presence of the indoor waterpark makes the hotel far more active than comparable businesses. The reviews of the hotel have been largely negative, but this seems unfair given the rates most likely paid to stay there. We were very happy with our stay and would stay at the Waverton again.
“nice hotel”
Located besides a main road in the small city, it's a litlle bit noisy but easy to get to downtown and the railway station heading for Chicago Union Station. The room is spacious and neat, equipped with fridge and microwave. The stuff are friendly, and they even helped me jump started my car.

“Nice surprise”
Although the hotel is working on upgrades, my stay was very nice, the staff very pleasant and it was a pleasant surprise. The room itself was nice, well appointed and the bed very comfortable. I would stay again.

“Good bargain”
For the price I paid this was a good choice. The room was big and comfortable and slept 3 adults (king bed and roll out couch) easily. I would say the room was 3 star quality, and the lobby and hallways were closer to 2 star, but I paid less than the prices quoted for most 2 star hotels. How am I gonna complain? I also used the fitness room, which was only 4 pieces of equipment, but they all worked! I would recommend the Waverton to people looking for a hotel close to the freeway in suburban Chicago.
“Decent Hotel”
This hotel was a perfect hotel for what we needed - a few nights stay in that area. The room was nice and very clean and the staff was average, not exceptional but by no means rude. The beds were comfortable, there was a cozy chair with foot rest and a desk. It was perfect for what we needed.
