“What a nice surprise!”

I usually stay at one of the large chain hotels when visiting downtown Chicago. A large convention in town forced me to look beyond the usual options. What a delight this hotel is! Large room, attentive staff, great value, who could ask for more? I'll be back!

“We loved this place!!”

The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, the location was perfect (walking distance to the Magnificent Mile, but just far enough away that you're out of the busy crowds), just blocks away from some fantastic bars and restaurants.... I loved this hotel and I love CHICAGO!!

“Almost great”

Rooms, check-in etc were all excellent. They have some evelator issue going on, not sure if it is simply capacity or what but big delays being able to get down from the rooms in the morning. One day the restaurant's computers were down. - Otherwise really great!

“Chicago in November”

Location is wonderful for walking almost everywhere, and a short Taxi-ride to anywhere else. Lots and lots of nice restaurants and bars and the amazing breakfast at the Pancake House just across the street (if there is a line go anyway, it's worth it). The hotel feels solid, warm and comfortable - if a little bit tired. The carpet in our room should have been thrown out a while ago - which is true of most carpets in most hotels. But then, carpeted hotel rooms are my pet peeve - imagining what people bring in on the soles of their shoes is downright disgusting.
