“Very impressed by how kid friendly”

I was extremely impressed by how welcoming the staff were when we arrived; particularly with our children. Not only did they have a wagon of toys, but gummy bears were in the room for the boys when we walked in. Big hit for a 6 and 9 year old boy! Convenient and just beautiful! And, just because they are kid friendly doesn't mean you are dealing with loud, obnoxious kids. I didn't hear any loud out of control kids at all...not even mine.

“An exceedingly pleasant stay”

One of the best hotels I've stayed in around the world. The staff was pleasant and friendly from the beginning. Everyone had a smile on their faces. I was given a high floor room facing the lake. The room was clean and well-kept. The house-keeping was just exceptional-this and St Regis NYC were the only hotels where I actually felt embarrassed for being a disorganized pig in my own hotel room-they would actually fold my shirts and pants on the floor and hang them up nicely, rearrange my randomly scattered stuff in the bathroom in an order. Very impressive. The interior decor was a bit out-dated compared to Four Seasons across the road, but was still head and shoulder above the rest.

“Great location for a Great Hotel”

Excellent hotel. On arrival, we were promptly helped by Randy at the front desk who was able to upgrade our room to a lake view suite (from a Michigan Avenue suite). The room was clean, well appointed, spacious and had a view that was incredible. Each day our room was cleaned and each night we returned to find the room cleaned again and the beds turned down. Each visit to either the desk or concierge was met with smiles and most importantly, correct answers to our requests. We did utilize room service due to a very late return from the museums and we were hugely impressed. Kudos to the staff at the Ritz Carlton!

“welcome to the comfort zone”

Ritz Carlton delivered in style for us on our recent business trip to Chicago. Luxurious accomodations, sophisticated ambience, yet comfortable. After hours of walking, sightseeing, and business seminars we were rewarded with excellent dining in the hotel, and the fabulous room with a view of Lake Michigan. Very convenient to world class shops, restaurants, parks,and museums. Looking forward to a return trip!
