“Unexpected Pleasure”

Honestly, the only complaint I have about this hotel was the line when I was checking in. There was only one person at the desk; however, I didn't see any lines when I passed through the lobby during the course of my stay. Speaking of the lobby, the hotel doesn't really have much of one, so if you're a big lobby person, you might want to skip this hotel...My room was the perfect size for me, and I was surprised to find two beds in my room. I wound up using the extra bed to throw my suitcase and clothes all over...I had a nice view of the Hancock tower from my room. It was very nice to wake up to in the morning...The kitchenette was a godsend for warming up the pieces of Chicago pizza I lived on during my stay, and the refrigerator played host to many bottles of water. The plates and siverware were also a nice touch...I might also add that my bathtub had spa jets in it. Very nice after a long day of walking...I would definitely stay there again.

“Seneca at Christmas”

Wonderful stay on the Magnificent Mile at Christmas. Great hotel with a wonderful staff. Our room was great, clean and kept clean for our four day stay.

“Happily surprised”

After reading other reviews, I was concerned about my choice, made for reasons of location (terrific) and price (very reasonable). Our room was large, well maintained and confortable - I will choose this hotel again.

“cant beat this one”

The location is fabulous. We opted for one of their suites which includes a full kitchen dining area and living room. For the money one of the best buys ever. It made a family trip special.

“Really good value”

We couldn't believe how affordable this was for downtown Chicago. It is one block away from Michigan Avenue and was just lovely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The suites were spacious and beautiful. My 8-year-old nephew looked around the room and said, "It's a miracle!" We really enjoyed our stay and have already recommended it to other people.

“Comfortable, good Chicago location”

The in refrigerator and lots of space was greatly appreciated. Hot breakfast was served from an early time which was very important for conference attendance. Location near the Water Tower was super!

“Great Hotel”

I couldn't believe how nice the hotel was. Better price than others in the area and was in a very convenient location. The room was fantastic! It had a bedroom with 2 queen beds and a tv, a living room with a tv, a dining room and a fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans utensils etc.)

“Excellent Hotel”

We were very surprised that the suite was as nice as it was for the price. Two adults and two children fit perfectly in this one bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms. Full kitchen was small but it had everything in it and fit our needs perfectly. The suite looked like it was renovated in the not too distant past because everything looked very clean and new. With it being two blocks off of Michigan Ave. and a few blocks from the lake and the walking/bike path it was the perfect location for us. About a 20 minute walk to the Navy Pier and next door to the John Hancock building and the Water Tower Place - (shopping mall with food court). We are definitely going back next year.
