“Navy grad 3-29-12”
Went up for navy graduation 3-29-12. Had a one bedroom suite and a studio suite. Both very large and clean. Hotel was near the base and very easy to drive to. A shuttle service picked us up at hotel and took us to graduation ceremony and back for $3 each way. Very convenient since parking would have been bad that day. They had a very good breakfast buffet each morning. Limited selection of course, but probably the best food I've had at any free hotel breakfast buffet. Highly recommend this hotel especially for families going up to navy graduation.
“Excellent place to stay”
We traveled from Arizona and absolutely enjoyed our stay at Residence Inn in Waukegan, IL. I would definitely recommend this place to stay when attending the Navy Basic Training Graduation. Residence Inn also provides vital information when new to the area.
“Best place to stay for Navy Graduation”
We wanted a Hotel with a seperate living area so we could bring our sailor back to the hotel for down time, after graduation. This hotel was perfect, with lots of room. But we didn't expect the extra's. The dinner provided to families staying there for the Navy graduation. The Breakfast is a "HOT" breakfast that was fantastic. The packet of local information given to us at check in. That helped us find a place to celebrate with our sailor. We were very impressed with this hotel, & HIGHLY recommend it to anyone attending a Navy Graduation.
“affordable and modern”
hotel is located 5 minutes from navy base great lakes and 20 minutes from downtown chicago. recommend if you can't afford downtown prices. hotel provides excellent directions and maps to main attractions. 10 minutes to six flags. very satisfied with our experience.
“Great Lakes Visit”
Great hotel when in area visiting Great Lakes Naval Station. Traveled with my dog - great place for a pet in tow. One complaint, spotty wireless internet service.

“Great place to stay.”
Very nice and comfortable room for the bussiness traveller. I was more than satisfied with the room I got. AC was a bit loud, but it cooled nicely. Great breakfast (included) and night snack (also included). Place was recommended by a fellow traveller to Chicago, and it is really a good plece to stay, I would have even tried the small swiming pool, but, I forgot my swimming suit. The pool looked nice though.
“Best Hotel”
Excelent service. My room was very clean, they stocked plenty of towels and supplies. Complimentary breakfast was provided and it was pretty much all you could want for a breakfast. Lots of choices of food. Fountain drinks and juice were provided all day. You could order from many local retaraunts that delivered to your hotel room. When I go again I will stay at this hotel.

Excellent hotel. The hotel is clean and spacious. A great plus to this hotel is that is has a full kitchen. I would suggest this hotel above the rest. An excellent value for the money!
“Wonderful Expierence!!!!!”
Was here for my sons Navy graduation our stay was very pleasant staff was helpful and friendly, rooms were clean nice and comfy with a full kitchen in room. Close by was a Wal Mart and lots of places to eat as well. About a good 10 min drive to the navy recruit base. Overall i would stay here again if in the area. Out stay was very pleasant with no complaints!
