We took a long weekend away to cheer on the Ne Cornhuskers vrs Northwestern. This hotel was ideally situated just 20 minutes from campus and a very simple drive. We read the reviews and wondered why this hotel was reasonably priced. We wondered if this was not a good hotel but the reviews said otherwise. The staff was great and all the reviews I have read were spot on! The breakfasts were great and an there was plenty of food and great staff that welcomed us each morning. They had some "fan appreciation" items for the football faithful on Saturday which was a nice touch. The Staff went out of their way to assist what ever we needed, directions, suggestions and all were great. From the night managers to the maintenance staff to the housekeeping, all were very friendly and accomodating.

Booked this hotel for a week's stay by positive Expedia reviews and value for money, and was not disappointed. The rooms are well set out, neat, tidy with a small and handy kitchenette. In an area where many hotels were far more expensive, I thought the Residence Inn represented excellent value for money. Rooms were also a good size for one person. I contacted the hotel before arriving to request a room with a nice city view - thanks to Shaun for looking after me. Nice to receive excellent customer service. Would definitely return.
