Check in was listed on their website as 3pm. We had arrived 2 hours later from out of town. Valet was friendly, no one was there at the front desk so valet had to grab Kevin from the office. Kevin was clearly sick and should’ve had the day off or had a mask. There was some miscommunication about how many rooms but he was very polite. I just felt bad that he was working while he wasn’t feeling well. It seemed as though our rooms were still not ready so he tried to get into contact with Jackie but she was no where to be found. He let us know it would be just a minute and wait in the lobby. Other guests checking in checked in just fine and got their rooms. Once Jackie came down she had her headphones in and didn’t seem to be in any rush to get any rooms prepared. Kevin gave us vouchers for the breakfast in the morning, but since we were simply there for a concert late at night we wouldn’t be using them so early the next day, but we appreciated his hospitality. That night when we arrived back from the concert there was no valet and we didn’t feel secure leaving it out front off a main road in downtown Chicago. The young women at the front desk with blond hair stated that she had sent him (valet) to do an errand for her so to just lock it up and they would park it once they arrived. Check out went smooth.

We stayed here for a show at the Cobra Lounge down the street and it was great! I love that the hotel offers a shuttle for travel within a mile so finding street parking on a busy weekend wasn’t something we had to be concerned with. When a place was out of the shuttle radius, it was just a short walk to the Pink Line station. Very good location, super kind front desk staff—I would absolutely consider this location again for future travel.

FRIENDLY! CLEAN! GOOD LOCATION! RESTAURANT! SHUTTLE! Stayed here because it was close to the United Center. They had a shuttle to and from the venue. Our shuttle driver Ronnel was fantastic! Rooms are a nice size. Very clean! Food was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and out was smooth. Valet was polite.

The person who checked me in (Kevin) was extremely helpful and friendly. He answered any questions before I even asked. This property is across the street from Rush University/Hospital/Dr offices, so very convenient if you are going there.

We stayed here for its close proximity to the United Center for a concert. Rooms were comfortable, beds plush, lots of pillows. Free shuttle to United Center was excellent, driver even stayed past his midnight shift to come back for those of us at the concert. Much easier than Uber. I would recommend staying here for sure if you are seeing a concert. Staying close to Michigan Ave is nice for shopping but it’s so loud. We just took an Uber to shopping and stayed here which I preferred.

A shuttle offered after midnight would help those going to a concert at the United Center. Having the hotel bar open later would be nice. Rooms were hot, could not get the room cold enough.

Stayed at this location for the Bulls game that we attended for my son birthday. Location was very convenient as for getting to the game on time and not having to drive far. If I was to return for something involving my kids I wouldn’t choose this location, basically because there’s nothing in the hotel for a kid. It’s literally just convenient for a quick stay or a couple who doesn’t care for a pool. Check in was easy and the lady at the front desk was very helpful. Don’t understand why charge for parking either, really can let that go alone with paying someone for that job. Save money by going to purchase something like make up towels or installing a pool. Not really anything bad to say! Room was clean (small) but overall our stay was okay, not the greatest place yet I’ve been to worse.

It was across the street from Rush - perfect for our needs. Wish restaurants were closer but a mile walk wasn't bad. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Cleaning staff started vacuuming a bit early (before 7:30) but the property was spotless.

This was just a quick overnight stay for a Dr’s appointment the following day. The room was clean and not noisy at all. I especially liked the black out curtains.

Our stay was very good. The reason we picked this location was because my wife needed a surgical procedure done at a hospital in the same area. The hotel had a Bistro and on site parking. They had a shuttle service that took us right to the door of the hospital that we needed. We were able have everything we needed right in or near the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

I was charged $53 for valet parking in which i parked myself and just handed them the keys and then when retrieving my vehicle the made me walk myself out to my car! There was no complimentary breakfast offered.. and the food you could buy was severly overly expensive. $6 for a slice of lemon bread for example. Other than this the room was nice but the parking cost alone will keep us from ever returning!

I am sorry for any confusion there may have been with this. The Courtyard by Marriott brand does not have a complimentary breakfast. This brand never has. We have the Courtyard Bistro for breakfast and dinner. There are other brands within the Marriott family that do include breakfast. The information will be included on the websites. Fair to poor.
The hotel is not very clean. The bathroom in our room had poop on the floor and hair all over the vanity. Common areas and elevator were not very clean either. There is NOT a restaurant for breakfast, it is a Starbucks. The front desk was not friendly, my greeting at check in was "do you want something?" Staff then stood at the front desk complaining about not enough people being scheduled in front of the guests. The bed was comfortable and clean, a plus. Overall, not great stay and VERY overpriced for a shabby hotel with poor service.

This Location was amazing !! The staff at the front desk was soooooo nice and the bistro staff Maria made our evening even better the food at the bistro is top tier !!! get the fries or the pizza, even the chicken sandwich. Another perk was the shuttle transport to the concert venue that was within a mile for FREE, Of coursed we tipped . Guys I kid you not this place was really a Gem and made our visit to Chicago really nice.
