“Art Deco Comfort”

Although the rooms are small, they are clean, comfortable and more interesting than your basic hotel. The hotel has a homey feeling and is well located within walking distance of many attractions or the free trolley service. Easy walking distance from the South Shore Train Depot on Randolph St. The free wine hour at 5pm each day is an added bonus.

“Lovely boutique hotel”

Although we had a small room, it was attractive. The shower had a tiny sink but it was set into a nice marble top. Great towels. The free cocktail hour was a nice surprise--hotel was sort if a Art Deco theme.

“Stylish value”

My wife and I like boutique type (i.e. not chains) hotels, and this one fits the bill. Nice touches like social hour with free wine & beer, music in the common areas, and a lobby where the guests actually enjoy hanging out. Helpful staff and concierge. Very nicely decorated. Close to trains and in the Loop. Only negative - a small bathroom vanity not at all sufficient for two people. Would definitely stay there again!

We try to stay at one of the three Kimpton hotels (Allegro, Monaco, Burnham) every time we are in Chicago and have never been disappointed. The staff is always great, the rooms are nice, and the extras like the wine reception are a nice touch. I have a feeling of overall value every time we stay at a Kimpton, and to me, that's what it's all about. You can find a nicer hotel, but you will pay dearly for it. But you will not find a better staff, regardless of price. We have stayed in many pet friendly hotels in Chicago over the years, and the Kimptons are by far the "pet friendliest" we've ever been in as well. Do your four-legged friend (and yourself) a favor and try a Kimpton hotel.

Hotel was immaculate. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Plenty of lounge areas and bar downstairs made a mean red ribbon martini. Room was small but had everything we needed. Bed comfy and thermostat controlled room temp in seconds. Right in heart of theatre district and was easy access to everything. We were pleasantly surprised and would go back in a heartbeat.

Every time I go into a city I try to see if they have a Kipmton Hotel. I always know that my room will be great, the staff helpfull, decore to perfection. And I am always satisfied because the deatils are attended to every stay, no matter what he individual hotel name Denver to Chicago never disappointed!
