“awesome place for traveller”
i love the hotel, it's easy to check in and out, and easy to go to the shopping center, china town, museum campuses, but it's a little cold when sleeping, but it's still awesome!
“Lovely hotel in a great location.”
Excellent - great location, great price, especially since you get free internet and a good breakfast. Rooms are not huge and you can hear a bit of outside noise, but that's normal for staying in the middle of a city. I would definitely stay again
“Holiday Inn Express-Wabash & Erie”
I have stayed at this hotel exclusively every time I travel to Chicago. I am so impressed with the staff, the atmosphere, and the overall experience every time I stay. The rooms are the perfect size for my needs, are kept clean, and the staff is always very attentive to my every need. Whether it be directions, room service, waiving a cab, or just a friendly hello on the street, they're top notch. I am super impressed with the experience every time I come and remember just why it is I choose to stay with them. Thank you so much for making my experiences in Chicago so enjoyable. Last but not least, Starbucks is right across the street. Cant beat that!
“good location!!”
front desk was very helpful, breakfast had a lot of selection, though crowded. no onsite parking. have to use the garage down the street. $40 per night. otherwise, a very nice place to stay.
“Great stay and service”
The staff was great and helpful. Our. truckwas to big to park inin the garage o the valaet parking attendant took me to where the outdoor parking area. Would stay here again if the need arises.
“Friendly and central”
We loved this hotel, the room was very small as mentioned but we knew this and the staff let us know again on booking in. We found the position excellent, the staff friendly and helpful the room was clean and cosy. The breakfast was plentiful and easy to access (self serve). It was so simple to walk out the front door and away we went exploring. We were able to access free internet which was great as we were not carrying a laptop. We would recommend this hotel for the position and price with no hesitation.
“Very Satisfied”
The Holiday Inn Express was formerly the Hotel Cass, an older hotel. It satisfied all my needs and expectations during an overnight stay. The room was small but clean and had all the expected amenities. It could be quite cramped if two people were staying there and spent much time in the room during the day. The bathroom was roomy and functional with updated vanity and sink. I had a great city view from the room's window, visible from the bed as I went to sleep. Location was in a safe and well-traveled neighborhood, an easy and safe walk to shops of Magnificent Mile/North Michigan Avenue. Staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. As a woman traveling alone this trip, I felt safe both within and outside the hotel. Breakfast was the standard hot and cold Holiday Inn Express fare. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
“Nice hotel at a nice price”
I've stayed at this hotel twice and had great experiences with it both times. The rooms and lobby are nicely finished and the staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a nice place to stay, in a good location and the price is one of the lowest in the area.
“We will come back”
This was our first time in Chicago, and it was great, we love the aquarium, the sears tower wish is now called willis tower, a terrible name for one of the top 5 highest buildings in the world. The museum of art great to, and terrific shopping at the magnificent mile and sorroundings. We are going to go back for sure.
“great place to stay”
All the excellent reviews I read about this place before picking it were true. Excellent service, very clean, and the beds are extremely comfortable. It's location is perfect, and the staff were always offering directions and advice on where to go. The breakfast was great. Most importantly, we felt extremely safe staying here. We will definitely return to this hotel next time we're in Chicago! Highly recommended.
