Double beds.....Are you serious! Posted 9-Nov-2014
We spent 5 horrible nights sleep on 2 x double beds - 2 adults and 2 kids (7 & 10). The room wasnt cheap - we opted for one with 2 bathrooms (as it was also renovated), one of which had a big huge old mould stain above the bath, they had tried to wallpaper over it. I dislike how they nickel and dime you on everything, plus didn't even provide us with a free bottle of water. I should no better but I keep trying Hilton only to be let down. The one good thing was the lovely guy at the fitness centre (which we never used) he greeted our boys the 2 times we used the indoor pool. We were locked out of our room for approx 1 hr going up and down to reception trying to get keys that worked - eventually after 3 times they discovered the battery in our door lock was flat. They did comp us breakfast and 2 nites of room upgrade fees, but overall I can never justify the price. Sorry Hilton, but we wont be back.
