Nice clean hotel with great location

Pros: Facilities and location
Cons: No curtain in washing room
Location: Everything you need is near by.
Walking distance to many attractions, Grant Park, Art Gallery, etc. Nice hotel to stay for both family and business trip

Excellent facilities and service

Pros: The decor is excellent. We checked in without a hitch at 11 a.m. on a busy weekend and hotel staff did everything they could to ensure we were happy.
Cons: Hotel restaurants are pricey and have limited menus but restaurant and concierge staff gave us some excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants.
Location: The hotel is on Michigan Avenue across from Grant Park and within easy walking distance of Field Museum, planetarium, aquarium and more.
We chose the hotel for its location on Michigan Avenue across from Grant Park and its reasonable price. Despite being an older building, the public and in-room facilities are excellent and the hotel staff couldn't be more hepful. We didn't like having to pay extra for WiFi but it at least worked, which is more than can be said for free WiFi we tried at one nearby hotel. Our room was small and didn't offer a view but that was a fairly minor inconvenience for a one-night stay.

Disappointment

Cons: Cleanliness. Additinal seating in the bedroom
Location: Downtown Chicago - close to park, museums, shopping and theater
We had to request a chair for the room. It was a double but only had one chair. I didn't feel that the bathroom was clean.

Wonderful location!

Pros: Location, cleanliness.
Location: Across the street from A Taste of Chicago, Art Museum, close to the Fields Museum, shops and restaurants.
First trip to Chicago, this hotel is in the perfect spot! Walked to most things, short cab ride to everything else. Really enjoyed our stay!!

Extra Fees

Pros: It was well located.
Cons: Better communication/ Staff did not know which bus lines were running and which were not.
Location: Close to the waterfront and the The Art Institute.
We were told that fitness facilities were included in the booking price and when we went to check in they told us that would cost an extra $30 per day. Hotel parking was $50 per day and we had not idea what it would cost because we booked with Expedia's special rate. This should be spelled out.

Great Location

We stayed at the Hilton Chicago 720 N Michigan ave. The hotel is in a great location. A short walk to Grant Park, great dining locations. Hotel Staff extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The double room with dual baths was perfect for our all girl weekend.

Close to all attractions

Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Parking rate at hotel somewhat steep - over 50 dollars per day - other parking lots cose by were much cheaper for 24 hours
Location: parks, hop on / hop off tour bus stop thus can access all local attractions
Hotel was a great find - the hop on and hop off tour bus located at the hotel was very convenient Hotel staff were very helpful

Excellent location right off grant park

Overall, we really enjoyed the hotel. Room was refurbished and in nice condition. The pool area is good with 2 hot tubs. We upgraded and used the business floor lounge w/free breakfast (worth it). Don't park in the hotel though, $52 for self parking alone. The lot across the street was only $25
