Disappointing ...

The 25th floor where I was given a room looked positively abandoned, spooky, dilapidated ... The room was relatively clean but old and tired; the wooden door was splitting at the bottom ...

Rooms need renovating!

Pros: It was fairly close to the commuter train station and Shedd Aquarium. The pool was also nice, however
Cons: Renovate the rooms!
The rooms are VERY small, have not been updated (ever?). We had 2 double beds and there was barely enough room for our suitcase and two small children's suitcases. Our curtains opened to the backside of another building. The room was cold and damp, even my papers (maps, etc.) were damp. The beds were very small, and when we asked about a King room we were told that they weren't much bigger. Our covers (usually something comfy/cozy?) consisted of a sheet, a cotton blanket and a sheet on top of that (all felt like paper). The swimming pool was a plus, however, it (and the gym) was available to people not staying at the hotel, so only 1/3 of the pool was available to swim in. The other 2/3 was for lap swimming. Not a good representation of a Hilton chain.

Beautiful hotel, walked to the Shedd Aquarium

Location: Museums, shopping, Millenium Park
Would love to stay there again and explore more of Chicago.

Nice room great view of lake

Location: shopping, great parks
would recommend. like the fact that even tho check out is at 11 parking in garage is extended til 3!!!

Fantastic hotel by the lake

Pros: Everything about the hotel.
Cons: Parking experience for tourists to Chicago.
Location: Fantastic location by the Michigan lake and Chicago river.
We traveled with our boys 11 and 9 and they were thrilled as we are with our stay at the hotel and the luxury it had to offer. Very convenient location to all sight seeing places in Chicago downtown.Hotel was fabulous with great interiors and grandiose.

weekend getaway

Pros: It's clean and cool, the view to the lake is spectacular!
Cons: More time to be there!
Location: Dancing, taking in all the carefree ambience, the great food is all around you.
excellent location to a great Chicago night, Dancing , eating , biking,walking by the light of the moon in safe environment. Can't beat it!

Excellent hotel, convenient location

Pros: Clean, convenient location, comfortable
Cons: Shuttle transportation was not timely even though planned ahead of time with hotel concierge.
Beautiful hotel in a convenient location. Restaurants and amenities were great. Would happily stay there again and would highly recommend to family, friends and business colleagues.

Hotel convenient to everything.

Location: Museums, shopping and marina nearby
Hotel centrally located. Beautiful entrance and lobby. Could use new lamps and lampshades and new towels. In general hotel could use updating!
