expensive Internet and bring your own shampoo

Hotel was nice and had the old style feel of a fancy hotel. Everything was fine until we got to the room and there was only one towel and left over bath soap bar that the maids must have forgotten. Also some of the wall paper was peeling off, but besides that, it was a good time and very comforting. Front desk were friendly and kind and answered all asked questions.

Pros: Location, staff, and cleanliness
Location: Across from park and Art Institute with plenty of activities all around
The hotel staff at the hotel was exceptional. They were friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel room was clean and all amenities exceeded expectations.

WOW! Best staff ever!

Pros: Our room was lake side and the view was beautiful! The bonus was the fireworks over the lake!
Cons: Refrigerators in the room.
Location: So close to the museum, planetarium, aquarium, soldiers field, shopping and walking distance to the parks.
The staff was so accommodating, helpful and friendly.

Thin walls

we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, being on the 17th floor with a lake view room the times we were there we enjoyed the scenery With the view we had at night and during the day. however, every time anyone was in the room next to us or in the hallway we could hear every conversation louder than a whisper and hear all the traffic. Outside of that and not really being a picky person I was able to overlook this, because everything else was perfect.

Pros: ホテルの場所は良く、きれいな場所ですぐに食事や観光に行くこともできまた仕事の会議が宿泊ホテルで行われたため、非常に便利でした。また歴史があるホテルですが、清掃は行き届いており特に不便は感じませんでした。
Cons: 予約情報をきちんと宿泊施設に伝えていただきたかったです。
Location: ミレニアムパークやシカゴ美術館が近くて良かったです。
おおむね良好でした。 ただし予約した部屋はlake viewの部屋のはずが、そうではない部屋でありチェックアウト後に受付で確認するもエクスペディアからの情報ではそのような内容はホテル側には届いていない、翌朝にまた来てくれとの返答。翌朝にまた受付に行くも今はどうしようもできない、午後3時にもう一度来てくれとのこと。3時に伺うとようやく部屋の交換をしてくれました。また確認事項があったため再度受付にいくと日本人スタッフが対応してくれました。また交換してくれた部屋はドアのチェーンロックが壊れかかっていたためこれには少し不安をおぼえました。 ホテルの場所は良く、きれいな場所ですぐに食事や観光に行くこともできまた仕事の会議が宿泊ホテルで行われたため、非常に便利でした。

Stayed overnight for a concert. The rooms were both fine. Very comfortable beds. Wish it hadn't taken us an hour to get in one of them b/c the room key wasn't working, though.

Great location! Walking distance to museums

The hotel was very clean and quiet. All staff was very friendly. We were close enough to walk to museums, parks and restaurants. Lovely time!
