The Fairmont Chicago at Millennium Park is three blocks from Lake Michigan, where guests can walk, jog, or bike along a 20-mile lakefront path. Oak Street Beach, one mile away, is popular for sunbathing and swimming in the summer. Canoeing, kayaking, and rowing equipment can be rented from the Lincoln Park Boathouse, three miles north. Within five miles of the hotel, the Sydney R. Marovitz golf course offers a challenging and scenic nine-hole course along Lake Michigan.

“Great place to stay!...”
-Fantastic location, walking distance from the Millennium Park -Great staff - Concierge was very knowledgeable -Would stay there again!
“Great service and staff!”
The staff were absolutely brilliant! I didn't know how to use the coffee machine on the first morning and called up the front desk. They arranged for room service to deliver some freshly brewed coffee and helped me to sort out the coffee maker. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I was able to get an early and late checkin/checkout. Well done!!
“Chicago Christmas 2011”
Excellent Loop location. I reserved a room with a king-size bed, yet upon arrival I needed a two-bed room. It was done instantly, no questions asked. Valet parking service very good and fast. The hotel does not have a swimming pool and health area with sauna; guests can go to the Athletic Club for a fee, and I think it should be complementary.

Room was clean and comfortable. View from windows was nice. From the desk clerk to the cleaning crew, everyone was very nice. Highly recommend.

The hotel is extremely well located and right in the downtown core. Only a 10 minute walk to Michigan Avenue and the Magnificent Mile. The staff and the Fairmont team here were great and very friendly, and always assisted us in the best way possible. Our room was great, on a high floor with a wonderful view and the in room service was very professional and warm. The Concierge team was extremely great and ensured our stay was made memorable. Kudos to them! Would definitely stay there again !!!

“Great Location and Hotel!!!”
The key to a great room, for me, will always be the bathroom. And this hotel did not fail me! The bathroom was excellent. And, the overall room was very comfortable and had a great space!!! The location was close to Art Institute of Chicago and Mag Mile. Definitely staying here again when I come back.
“Beautiful and comfortable hotel!!”
It was beautiful! The lobby is very nice and our room was great. The bed was so comfortable. I left my cell phone in my car and with in 10 minutes of calling hte front desk and man was knocking on our hote room door with my phone. We had a beautiful view of the lake and the temperature of the room was perfect. I loved the bathroom set up. Very easy for two people ot get ready at the same time. I LOVED the coffee station too. We will be staying htere the next time we go to the city. It is a perfect location down town!
“Enjoyable experience at the Fairmont i Chicago”
I enjoyed the fact that the reservation through Expedia offered free valet parking that lasted through 6 pm the next day, had fast internet access etc. The staff were wonderful. I did not eat at the hotel as I was attending a conference nearby. The view from the hotel was great.
“Lovelly room, lovely view!”
Hotel was wonderful! Only snafu was a little problem with the phone not taking a message - staff endeavored to fix, but fix didn't last. Hotel apologized profusely and kept trying, finally admitted that it would require a system repair during the week. View was wonderful - I asked for a 30 plus floor with a view of the lake, no problem. Very comfortable bed and pillows - will stay again the next time I visit.
