“Terrific Hotel”

The people who work there (including the room cleaning people) were VERY friendly and nice. I felt very safe. The hotel is extremely close to the Naval Base, so if you're there for bootcamp graduation as I was, it's perfect. The bed was very comfortable, I had 5 pillows all to myself! I felt like a queen. The restaurant across the street has just about everything you can imagine at good prices and very tasty. They have a shuttle to the base for graduation but the drivers will want a couple bucks per person, so just be prepared for that. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone.

If i come back to Chicago I will definitely use this hotel again. The staff was very helpful and nice. The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff was very helpful in helping us to find our way around. They went up and above to make sure our needs were satisfied.

Reading other reviews I was anticipating low expectations. To my surprise, the front desk staff was extremely nice - thanks LaRecia, the hotel had a warm family feeling, nice rooms with good house cleaning and great breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place to others for the value. It is worth the money!!!

“We had a great stay at the Days inn, Great Lakes!”

My family and I had a wonderful experience at the Days Inn, Great Lakes. The staff is very friendly and was there to assist at all times. The location is just 10 minutes from the Naval base and the shuttle service is convenient. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone that is traveling to Great Lakes, IL.

Except the WiFi speed, everythig else was very good, clean room, nice staff, good breakfast and very reasonable price.

Above and beyond what we expected. Extremely friendly service and very knowledgeable for those of us who are not from this state. LaRecia, the front desk associate was wonderful. This hotel was very kind to our Military family. They are conveniently located 2 miles from the Naval Station and they provided directions and any information that we needed for the area. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!!! They go above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate families who come to see their kids graduate from the Naval Station...

i was there for my boyfriends graduation and the staff was always friendly. sometimes young people get poor service because we get the stigma of only staying in hotels to trash them and throw parties. this hotel is warm welcoming and friendly to everyone that walked through the door no matter what time of the day or night it was! i will be recommending this days inn to everyone i know and i myself will be staying there again!

Very clean and comfortable. Room was very nice. Thank you for the coffee and tea in room as well as the nice presentation of the towels, hairdryer, soaps and hair products. Staff is very kind and informative. Will be back, and recommend to all who ask for a nice place to stay.

“Naval Graduation”

Coming to Great Lakes to see my son graduate his navy training was exciting and the Hotel and staff added to my special time there . The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was very helpfull with all my questions of places to go see and for dining.
