“Magnificent Hotel on the Magnificent Mile”

I had a great experience at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Avenue! The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. The only downside was the expensive parking, but this is to be expected in downtown Chicago.

The Crowne Plaza was a wonderful experience overall. For one, I am a very meticulous and tough to please traveler, so I will honestly say that the Crowne Plaza met and exceeded my expectations. When my gf and I checked in, they gave us a complimentary upgrade from a standard room to a 1-Bedroom Suite! That's A+ customer service. The room was very clean and cozy all around. Here are a few notable details: BATHROOM: - Spacious - Plenty of towels (12) - Granite countertop - Neutrogena soaps and lotion BEDROOM: - Very cozy bed mattress - Warm comforter and bed sheets (3) - Perfect sized fluffy pillows (4) - Sizable amount of closet space - Complimentary linen spray, ear plugs, and eye cap. SITTING ROOM: - Leather couch w/ fold out bed - Premium iPod sound dock - HD Flat screen TV + Fast Free WiFi - Auxiliary closet space with extra blankets (2) and pillows (2) - Pre stocked mini fridge - Slick coffee maker w/ 4 bags of Java HOTEL: - Lots of elevators - Friendly / knowledgeable staff Friendly & Constructive Suggestions: BATHROOM: - Sink water pressure was way too strong - Shower water pressure was a tad weak BEDROOM: - Spotty wifi signal from bed SITTING ROOM: - No personal fridge - No safe to store valuables Final Thoughts: I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a competitively priced, comfortable, city centric, and quality hotel. I was very impressed with my stay there and will be definitely returning. Hope this review has helped everyone out.

“Better than I expected!”

This hotel offered so much more than I had expected. The front desk staff were professional, friendly, eager to assist, and knowledgeable. We got an instant upgrade because we were staying for 6 nights. The suite was clean and very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location; walk to everything! I would stay there over and over again.

This price was everything that we had hoped for, and a a great price! The entire staff was very friendly, and the location was just minutes from everything!

This hotel was very friendly oriented, my wife and I had never been to Chicago, and would have been lost as you know what without the staff at The Avenue. right when we were checking they ugraded us to the executive suite, in which we just reserved an ordinary King Bed Room, which was very nice. The location is great it is right in the middle of everything. Im already counting the days till we get to go back.

The room had a wonderful view of the City skyline. It was clean. The English Pub in the hotel had incredible food! I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

The location couldn't have been better, within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was attentive and informative.

The room was luxurious and very comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. A special note about the concierge Benjamin. He made our stay in Chicago a memorable one and without him. we would not have had such an enjoyable time.
