“wasn't what I expected”

I was expecting a lower grade room, when i walked into the room it was very nice and clean. There was lots of space. There was even a fridge and microwave that I didn't even know it came with at the time of booking. The free breakfast I thought was awesome. They had stuff that other places never put out. There was fresh fruit, yogurt, waffles, cereal, toast, muffins, bagels, milk, coffee, juice. I can't remember the rest but the staff kept filling all the items so there was plenty for everyone that stayed there.

“Clean and convenient!”

Located across from the mall so you won't be bored. Rooms were clean and comfy. Breakfast was not too bad -- two flavors of fresh waffles, boiled eggs, fried eggs, sausage, bagels, assorted pastries, juices, coffee, tea, fruit... Nothing fancy but fresh and filling. Hotel staff was very friendly. About 10 mins from Great Lakes Naval Training Base if you are attending graduation like we did. If you take 94, be prepared for 50 cents toll, in coins, each way. There might be a better route to avoid tolls.

“Nice time was had by all”

Recently stayed at this hotel during a family trip and not a single one of us had a complaint. The rooms were nice, the beds were comfortable, and the pool was great for the kids!

We stayed here for three nights and it was very comfortable, clean and the breakfast was the best. I would definitely return again and recommend this hotel. Six Flags was very close and the hotel was right next to the Gurnee Mall and many restaurants. Very convenient. The pool was great for the kids too.

“Ideal base for lakeside north of Chicago”

Not great views but ideal base for getting around in this area. Pool and spa tub great for early morning swim or relaxing after a busy day. The complimentary breakfast was great - especially the waffles. The journey from O'Hare Airport takes about 45 minutes (though slightly longer at moment due to roadworks)

“Adequate Accomodation Naval Rectruit Command Graduation”

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Prompt attention was paid to a 3am complaint of smoke dector with malfunctioning conection. Hot tub and pool maintained chemical levels maintained OK. Daily beakfast adequate and presented well.

Booking a room for our stay at Chicago's Six Flags Great America was a last minute decision. We started with the 5 star hotels & then worked our way down. We finally booked a room at the Comfort Inn. We have never stayed there before so we weren't sure of what to expect. I have to say that we were very pleased with our stay at the Comfort Inn! The room was spacious, accommodating, clean, & very comfortable. The hotel was just minutes from Great America & if the kids needed a break sometime throughout the day it was very convenient to go to our room for a rest & then return to the park. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool while my husband & I relaxed in the hot tub close by. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants & stores within walking distance. We would definately recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the Gurnee area.

Very pleased with this hotel. Right next to six flags, easy access to everything. Nice area, and the hotel was as pleasant as good be.
