“Holiday Inn Chingmai ,the warm place for everyone”
the hotel staffs are very nice and good service mind especially the front officers. the room is big ,clean and the single bed is comfort enough for the big person. I and my family like to see the Ping River view form our room , it's make us calm and relax . But in my parent's room is a little stale . I love it!!!!! Thank you expedia Aus.

“Frequent visitor”
Have stayed at this hotel several times and have always been very pleased with the stay. Service is excellent and some of the staff even recognize me on my return. Great breakfast buffet. Nice location.
“Great service and great value hotel”
This hotel is a little bit off the center of town, but it is very well-maintained and offers excellent service (even by Thailand standards.) Rooms are large and well-maintained. The breakfast buffet is the best in its class in terms of quality and variety -- the exception being the MOST expensive hotels in Asia. The concierge was always extremely helpful -- they booked every restaurant, every tour that we wanted. We were there for five nights, over new years, which is a peak time. It can feel a little hectic -- ie, every table is taken at breakfast, two people waiting for the concierge, etc. Overall, still very high recommendations.
“Good view hotel”
This hotel is very fantastic, The bathroom is very huge. We feel confortable and happy to stay here. The river view looks very tranquil. will stay here again next trip.
“Highly recommended”
This is the best Holiday Inn that I have ever stayed in. The staff were genuinely polite & helpful. The choice at breakfast was excellent, you will be able to eat something different every day. The room was cleaned to a high standard. I used the laundry service a couple of times, which might not be the cheapest but it was collected within 5 min's of requesting & was returned clean & ironed within 3 hr's. (if you are on a certain budget, there is a launderette just around the corner from the hotel). The location of the hotel was great with it being next to the river - made for a great setting whilst having breakfast. (I'm glad I didn't choose a downtown hotel, which was closer to the night bazaar because believe me, after you've walked around it once you'll realise that will be enough! Tuk Tuks wait at the entrance of the hotel and are quick and cheap. If you have a hire vehicle, then the hotel has a large (no fee) car park which is patrolled by security guards 24/7.
“Good experience”
This was definitely the nicest Holiday Inn I've ever seen. It is right on the river so there is a nice view and the Tuk Tuks are so cheap you can easily get a ride wherever you need to go. Great breakfast.
“Very nice place to stay”
We were delighted to find this hotel in Thailand and were impressed by the spacious well appointed room, big bathroom (some hotel rooms in London have approx the same size), delicious breakfast (that we enjoyed on the terrace by the river - great view). Room service is fantastic. We ordered dinner a couple of nights - and were served in less than 20 minutes. Congratulations to the chef ! Location is slightly out of town, but a tuk-tuk can take you anywhere in less than 10 minutes. The staff is friendly and helpful, and with few exceptions, they speak pretty good English for Thailand. One more thing - for this kind of hotel, the internet connection should be free of charge. Overall, we would return to Holiday Inn Chiang Mai anytime due to its good value for the price.
