The best of this hotel is the location, next to the train station. However the hotel rooms are worn and look very old, it seems that it used to be a pleasant hotel but not anymore. In my room the sewage smell was so strong that I had to keep the bathroom door closed permanently. The AC grills were filthy and the room was not clean, there was a lot of dust and dirt below the beds. The restaurant around this hotel are below average. The hotels
is being refurbished - February 2016 - so expect banging noise during the day. I'd not recommend this hotel, for 100 - 150 baht a taxi may take you to much better options to stay downtown Chiang Mai.
