We were very impressed with our welcome at the Chester Town House. We were able to drop our bags off at lunchtime and park in the hotel carpark to spend the first day in Chester. The room was lovely and bathroom. The hotel was just off the main street in Chester. A nice quiet area but very central. The food was lovely.

A guest house in a quiet area but only a short walk away from the city centre, with own parking a couple of minutes walk away. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was luverly. Friendly and helpful staff with a good local knowledge. There is also a pub on the corner that offers cheap meal deals, so all in all a very convenient place to stay and one we are happy to endorse.

Traditional guest house dating from the 17th century in a quiet and convenient location within the walled city. Comfortable and (very) adequate rather than anything more, but ideal for a short stay. Some fairly steep stairs up to the top floor rooms.

Very friendly staff, great location and a superb breakfast. Only negative thing was the cold bathroom in April. Would certainly visit again as we were made to feel welcome and were very comfortable.

There was no loo paper; the stairs were very steep; it was difficult to find because of the one-way system.
