Great hotel as a stop over. Bourges was a great city to explore. The hotel is located well if you have a car to drive to the city. The beds are comfortable and the room is a decent city for france standard. The breakfast is also decent for france.

Very good for a peaceful overnight stay with a very comfortable bed, and so convenient with such near access to the motorway junction. Bathroom could do with a refresh.

An utterly dreadful hotel, particularly for the price. The rooms smelt musty and unpleasant, the carpet was worn and the shower and windows were covered in mould. We paid more than £80 for a family room that was meant to sleep four people. We arrived to find three beds - a double and a single. On further inspection, we found a made-up pull-out bed underneath the double, but there was no space to put it up. Eventually, we wedged it at the foot of the double bed, which cut off half the room, unless we climbed over the bed with our sleeping children in. We also had one towel to share between four of us. Check-in was slow, mainly as people have to pay on arrival, and communication was difficult, with the staff on reception using a translation app to speak to customers. Drinks had to be purchased via the front desk too, and there was no outdoor seating, not even a couple of benches. Grim, extortionate and inefficient - avoid!

Easy access, safe parking. Cleanliness not sure.
Extremely easy access from motorway. Super smooth checking and payment. Several decent restaurant options within walking distance. Parking with security cameras and gate that locks at night. Spacious room but quite worn out, particularly in the bathroom/toilet area, which did not look as clean as other newer ACE hotels used in the past. A couple of bugs spotted walking on the carpet - it was a ground floor room after all.

Great location for a stopover very close to the E11 motorway. Good value, basic hotel. Quick and friendly check in. Decent sized clean room. Just a shame they allow delivery lorries shortly after 6am which woke us up.

Stay was good other than we weren't allowed to take our very small dog into the breakfast area. The hotel accepts dogs and makes a charge, why not allow dogs into the breakfast room? We stay at many hotels in France and dogs are allowed in restaurants quite often.

Upto Ace Hotel standards but service could have been more cheerful and the shower/toilet was smaller than usual. Also the TV channels did not have any English, Dutch or German channel option, just French, so does not cater to international travellers.

Run of the mill hotel chain on the outscirts of the town. Comfortable and good value. The sign posting to the hotel after leaving the peage is a nightmare. Take a wrong turn and you have to frive several Km to get back on the dual carriage way network surround ing the hotel. Even the Sat Nav didn't really help. But now I know how to get to it I would stay again.

There was supposed to be WiFi but no matter how we or reception tried it would not work. The tv had only one channel and the remote control did not work. The picture advertising the hotel did not match the room at all. There was no coffee or tea making facilities in the room and the hotel had no restaurant.

Good priced stay in clean room, close to motorway if travelling to Spain through France, I got in late but managed to quick get a meal at one of the two restaurants within walking distance at just before 11pm. Wifi was out of service when I stayed luckily I didn’t need it this time. No kettle for coffee ect and no hand soap in room. But overall it’s clean stay for a quick overnight stop

Good choice for an overnight stay
Very easy access from the motorway. A little disappointed there was no coffee making facilities in the room and had trouble getting WiFi. Good restaurants within easy walking distance. All in all would stay again.

Excellent overnight stop. We have stayed here many times. Fair to say that this is one of the original Ace hotels and it is starting to look a bit tired in places eg. the bathrooms. But rooms are an excellent size, the wi fi is good and the breakfast is super value. So convenient for the autoroute - within minutes of the A71. Recommended.

Conveniently located
The Ace hotel is right off the highway and within walking distance of several decent fast-food type restaurants. The staff was very nice, very helpful and the room was basic but quite comfortable. However, it is located several miles from the cathedral of St. Etienne and the old medieval part of Bourges in the center of the city.

Perfect One Night Stopover
Excellent budget hotel. Rooms are bigger than usual for a hotel of this type, clean, comfortable and air conditioned. The breakfast is very good value. There are several restaurant chains within walking distance for your evening meal. Very easy to find just off the A71 autoroute. We have stayed here many times and would recommend it.

The hotel is next to a giant truck transport terminal. Noisy with the window open. Absolutely quiet with it closed. A decent inexpensive restaurant within one block. Did not try the breakfast at the hotel but many people were having it. Great location if just passing through Bourges. All in all a very serviceable lodging for the price.

The hotel was clean, bright and comfortable. Check in was quick, efficient and the person on duty was polite and helpful. Straightforward - no problems. Shower, hairdryer, AC, TV etc. all worked fine. Good value
