“A wee treasure”

A lovely wee treasure in the Cotswolds. Being off the beaten track isn't an issue when you have a car and GPS though it was well sign posted. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and the food fantastic. Really recommend that you dine in as well. Has plenty of character.

A care worn building with character and personality that made you feel that you had stumbled into the heart of the village ...Local people, friendly staff., visiting dogs all added to the atmosphere ...the snowed when we visited which added to the experience and the photo opportunities

“Two day stay at The Hollow Bottom”

My wife and I were very pleased with our two day B & B stay at The Hollow Bottom. All the staff we met were cheerful, friendly and attentive. The full English breakfast was served to a good standard. The ensuite centre light bulb in the room was blown but this was replaced quickly. We would be happy to go there again.

“Fab find”

We stayed here for one night for a nice relaxing evening away from everything and everyone following our wedding the day before. We stayed in `Earth Summit' which was a spectacular room. The food in the bar downstairs is fabulous, better than some 5* restaurants, the sea bass was to die for. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order, the portions were big enough to last us through until an evening meal. It's not the first time we've stayed here and certainly won't the last. We can't wait to come back again!

“A romantic retreat in the heart of the Cotswolds”

We had an enjoyable one-night Saturday stay at the Hollow Bottom. In the heart of the Cotswolds in a delightful village called Guiting Power, this is the perfect retreat for a romantic weekend away. On arrival, we were made to feel very welcome by Sam, and shown to our room which was a smart and comfy en-suite. I was really surprised by the high quality actually of the bathroom, it was beautifully done. We ate at the restaurant and the food wouldn't be out of place in a top London hotel - really great attention to detail and beautifully presented. The breakfast too was a delight - a comprehensive choice and very good to have smoked salmon and scrambled eggs as an option - yum! I was really intrigued by the history of The Hollow Bottom, it has a great Grand National and horseracing heritage and apparently Charlie and Rebekah Brookes often come in! (don't let that put you off ;-) ) - a fantastic stay
