“Good experience”

The hotel room was very clean and well kept. The lobby was also clean. The breakfast was just what we expected, nothing fancy but there was lots of it and enough for us to get going in the morning with. I would stay at this hotel again. The bedding was clean and also had a nice clean smell.

It was a very nice place. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The room was clean, and the bathroom also. Overall, very nice for the star rating. The outdoor pool was not heated, but still clean.

“OK to rest your head”

My husband, daughter & I were in Chatham to visit family for a weekend and needed a place to sleep. This motel as just fine for that - we were on ground floor smoking room, attached to the pool patio, so that made it nice to go outside to sit, read, smoke. However, I don't think I would ever step foot in the pool - very "green". Mind you, it was in mid-Sept. and I'm sure they didn't expect anyone to swim at that time of year. Our patio door wasn't working properly - had to really work at it to open it; the pillows were lacking in substance (bring your own, or ask for more). However the room was clean, beds comfy, had hot water, and we were able to get ourselves a breakfast at reception (cereals, REAL waffles, bagels, toast, donuts, juice, coffee) which is great touch.

“Ok for the price”

This is a cheap motel which is clean. You have to ask your room to be cleaned if you stay more than 1 night. But it gets done. Small continental breakfast. Great for someone who just needs a place to sleep.

and it was only one night. There were a few little things in the room that needed repairing, but we were rushed when we were leaving so I didn't mention them to the front desk. Sorry for whoever gets our rooms after us.

“Felt sorry for cleaning staff”

This is not a place I would stay again. The cleaning staff where amazing and did the best they could. I was very sick when I stayed at the Super 8 and they cleaned up after me and asked how I was constantly with no complaints. Bravo to them. The managers where always on personal calls and when we asked to have our fridge fixed it did not happen for 2 days and they blamed the cleaning staff for not doing it instead of telling the truth that they forgot. Also the air conditioner and rad filters had not been replaced in some time so when turned on the room took on a musty bad smell and this smell did not go away. Old, outdated, and gross. Once again I must say this had nothing to do with the cleaning ladies, they only had so much to work with and I feel they did the absolute best they could. We chose this hotel as it had an outdoor pool but it was not maintained nor where there any loungers, tables or umbrellas to make it comfortable to sit outside, there were only broken plastic sit up type chairs. We did not use the pool at all.

“Not impressed!”

We were very disatisfied with this hotel. It was run-down and unclean. We found long black hair in the sheets, hair in the sink, toothpaste spatter on the mirror and the carpets didn't look like they had been vacuumed for some time. We asked for another room and found that it was not much better and the airconditioner was not functioning properly in humid +36C temperatures. It should be noted that there are NO elevators in this hotel and so if you are taking lots of luggage, you will not want to be dealing with all of the stairs!
