"Gem of Chatham"
Judy and Ray are perfect host's. The Harbour Inn is in a great position for walking into Chatham and enjoying the shops and restaurants. We stayed for 8 days as a base for visiting the Cape and found Chatham to be one of the most beautiful places on the Cape. Wonderful breakfasts, all home made . Cannot wait to return, wonderful.

"Beautiful B&B"
We ended up staying at this lovely inn rather unexpectedly after learning that our original hotel had overbooked and had no room for us. (As an aside, Expedia took care of this situation quickly and with no additional cost to us. Great customer service experience!) The Chatham Gables Inn turned out to be one of the nicest B&B's in which we have stayed. It is a beautiful, welcoming and historic home. Everything was top-notch - antique furnishings, beautiful linens & towels, great in-room amenities, convenient location. Breakfast was fantastic - perhaps the best at any B&B we have visited. Each day of the week offers a different featured breakfast. Sunday's offering was a decadent and delicious "croissant casserole" which my husband devoured. One of the great things about this inn is that guests may choose an alternative to the breakfast of the day, and thus I enjoyed wonderful fresh berries with yogurt and muesli. The innkeepers are fairly new to the property but they are doing a terrific job!

"Off Season Stay"
My wife and I stayed in room 10 for two nights in early June, before the busy season. Place wasn't too busy. The owners are great - Annie pulled out a map of Chatham and gave us a run-down of all the places to go, and she's so friendly. She told us all about the local restaurants, putting in a plug for her family's restaurant, which we tried (Mooncusser's Tavern in Harwich) and very much enjoyed. Live Jazz and great tapas (the mustard-base sauce on the mussels was wonderful and unique) and I left my hat there and the owner had it for me the next day when we left our room! The motel has had some updates in the bathrooms which is good - new tile and showerheads. The tub and sink were a bit dated. Room had a mid-size mini-fridge which was unexpected and great. TV was a small CRT tube TV. There were large-slat blinds on the windows but having curtains would have been nice as the rooms are all ground level. We sat by the pool on the second day of our stay because it was so windy at the beach. Pool was uncovered but hadn't been cleaned yet for the season which was too bad -- we didn't go in! We enjoyed our stay, good place for the money.

"Wonderful stay! This resort exceeds expectations!"
I can't say enough about Pleasant Bay Village. We loved everything about it...from the charming room to the grounds that rivaled any large garden area. Staff was extremely helpful, friendly and was good. Didn't get a chance to explore all 6+ acres. It was just like a pleasant little community of cottages -- many with weber grills, outdoor patio tables and chairs -- ponds, waterfalls, artwork. One of the nicest places I have every stayed! So much nicer than a cold/sterile-looking motel or hotel. Would love to stay there for several weeks and just explore the whole Cape and visit the beaches, etc. Great town, great shopping, restaurants....and on and on!
