The property was old and repairs were subpar(Sheetrock in bathroom looked like a toddler fixed it). The staff was unprofessional and complained every time about personal problems when I was at desk. Smell of marijuana was STRONG everywhere. Room had bad odor, but appeared clean. The place made me feel sketchy.

Definitely need a overhaul of the property, update the pictures, clean the rooms better, someone’s underwear was left in the room, incorporate do not disturb signs for the doors to avoid house keeping just banging on the door and trying to come in when services not needed. Random visit from front desk manager saying that the room is non smoking as if we didn’t know that. We definitely don’t smoke but the non smoking room smelled of smoke before we got there. Very unorganized check-in process, arguing in lobby and side doors locked (key card thing broken or taken down) a big inconvenience having to always walk around to front door..

A little sketch but mostly adequate
About as good as you would expect from a hotel room that costs a third of the usual rate for Charlotte. My family member’s door didn’t shut completely, and their smoke detector was wrapped in a plastic bag on the wall. The room I was assigned to wouldn’t open with the door key; when I went to the office again, I was switched to a different room instead of just fixing the key. My next room, which was supposed to be non-smoking, reeked of cigarette smoke. When I walked back up to the office a third time, the office staff said that room WAS non-smoking. I was switched to a third room, which was adequate. It didn’t feel particularly clean, but it looked like someone had made an effort. The building overall is quite rundown. The front desk staff at night was not at all friendly, didn’t even apologize for having to shift me to three different rooms. The parking lot has a sign saying “ park at your own risk”, but I didn’t see anything dangerous. Breakfast is either dry cereal or bread for toast; coffee and orange juice. Best to take it back to your room; the area provided to eat breakfast is contained in the office and has very little space. Positives: easy to find, inexpensive, the daytime staff were pleasant, I didn’t hear much noise, and the bed was comfortable. If you’re just coming here to sleep for a night, won’t spend any time in your room, don’t care if the staff lacks customer service skills, and aren’t overly concerned about cleanliness, his hotel is OK.

What a horrid place to stay. Even the staff knew it was a horrible place. First room they try to put me in the entire bathroom ceiling was just solid mold. I'm still coughing and it's been days later. Second room the A/C smelled like cheese and the wall mountings were ripped out of the walls. Just terrible.

This is not a property that should be on this site. its for people transitioning from homes. They have a preference for people who will be stay for a week or two. if you just want to stay a night thats not preferable. the place is like an apartment building more than a hotel. the place is not in great condition. its made for people who dont have a place. so its a roof, and thats understandable. its just for travelers...maybe gypsies. The guy working the front desk works hard, thats the upside. our sink didn't drain the toilet wanted to clog, the bed was below average. however if you're in a pinch looking for a temp home this could be it..

The pictures shown on the web site for this property and rooms are false. The curtains had been ripped off the window. The window was busted. The shower had mildew and shoe prints. The kitchenette didn't have cabinet doors. Doors missing from closet. Floor was filthy. No wi-fi or elevator and it's an extended stay.

The staff was great!!! The property needs a lot of work done to it!! Elevator stopped working a few times. Our room was ok. The problem was the toilet ran, the seat was loose, the latch on the door was loose and broke off and the air conditioner was leaking. I asked for assistance when I first got there but maintenance never came. We looked at other rooms and they weren’t in the best condition either.

Upon walking in there was a terrible odor. The floors were a mess. Then there was no one at the front desk. When I called, without asking me any information, they said there is no room even though I had a reservation. I guess the silver lining is I didn’t have to spend a night in that dump. Stay away unless you enjoy rancid odors and no customer service.

In one week there were three screaming matches that turned into physical altercations in the hallway. One involving an employee who was on the clock. Fire alarm also went off in the middle of the night for like 15 straight minutes once. There was mold in the room and bathroom, as well as roaches. The “kitchen” area was essentially useless because it was so dirty. The utensils and pot/pan provided were actually sticky and gross. I did not expect this place to be fancy in any way shape or form but it was honestly so much worse than I could have imagined. I’m pissed I paid for a week up front and was forced to stay the whole time. Never again in my life.

I will never stay in this motel again - my brother and I felt unsafe every step of the way. Other patrons walking down the halls with guns, barely lockable doors, lots of stares, etc. Also, there was a sharp pointed clip on the curtain that I stuck myself with on the last morning I was there that made me bled. I'm going to send an email with the attached photo separately as I can't attach photos here. Neither my brother nor I got a good rest because of the constant noise throughout the night. The lock on my door was even broken and maintenance had to come and literally drill a new one. 0/5 stars.

We didn’t even stay. We got in and it smelled like weed. Went to the room and there was a lamp with wires hanging out in the bed. The door was off its hinges and wouldn’t close. My husband couldn’t get us out if there fast enough.

I normally don’t like to give negative reviews….however, this was the nastiness place I have ever stayed in my life. We almost left and went and stayed somewhere else but didn’t want to lose the money. So, we went to the WalMart and bought disinfect spray and laid towels down to walk on so we wouldn’t touch the floor. We sprayed the entire room with disinfectant spray. There were dead roaches on the floor and live ones crawling. I honestly can NOT believe we stayed there. We got up really early just to get out of there. I’m pretty sure people live there as well. I will NEVER stay at another one. EVER.
