“Not a luxury hotel, but great value for the price”

The bed as not as soft as many other hotels (personal taste will define whether that's good or bad), and the hallways looked like something out of The Shining at night, but the price was definitely right! The whole unit was roomy - there's lots of elbow room - the bathroom was spacious, the fridge and microwave worked, the seating area was cozy (the remote didn't work for the TV though), and overall if I'd needed to stay for a week I would have done so happily.

“Old hotel needs upgrade”

The hotel was okay...it had thin walls (I could hear the person next door laugh at his TV) and no elevator. The staff was friendly and helpful. My stay was fairly pleasant and I liked the set up of the kitchen in the room. The only negative thing I have to say about this hotel is that it was a little old and didn't have an elevator.

“No elevator and all rooms are up steep flights of stairs”

First of all, it was hard to find because there is not really a sign in front of the door. It looks like an apartment building. Which is what it really is. It is in a nice area just off I77 near the Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt etc. When I got there, I was surprised to find that I had to carry my bags up to the the third floor as there is not elevator. When I got there my key card did not work and the room number written on the key card did not even exist on that floor. So off I go back down the stairs with my luggage again. The desk clerk was apologetic and certainly nice enough but back up to the third floor climbing steps with my luggage again (in heels no less). The room was large and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The tv was very small and far away from the bed so that it was hard to see. The remote control for the tv did not work either. The floor was sticky in places and there were things under the sleeper sofa (unopened drinks) so I know they don't clean under there.
