Location was great plenty of places to go eat. Hotel was nice and the staff was very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay

Good place close to great resturants and close to Charlotte airport

From the moment of my arrival, I was convinced that I made the right choice for my stay. The check-in process was very smooth. I was given an opportunity to upgrade and took advantage of the offer. Responses to my inquiries about dining, entertainment, shopping, getting around Charlotte, etc., were immediate, helpful and accurate. As I toured the area of the Ritz's location to visit other hotel chain that I most often frequent, I continued to be very happy having chosen the Ritz. The staff was universally customer focused. Any request was met with an enthusiastic and efficient response. I observed other guests being assisted and came away feeling that my experienced was--as far as I could determine--in keeping with Ritz's approach to serving their guests. The consierge, Mark, especially went above and beyond--at one point--walking me to a restaurant near The Ritz Carlton to make sure I found my way there easily.

We surprised the kids by coming here. We have been to the one in Virginia and twice to the one in PA. While driving home from Florida, I thought it would be nice to surprise them because sometimes coming home from vacation is a bummer. They could not believe it when we pulled into the parking lot. They gave us wolf ears at check in which was a nice touch that we never got before. There were 2 bathrooms which is always great when traveling with 6 people. The kids loved the water park especially the ropes. I enjoyed the wave pool. Of course the tubes were a blast too. It was a little bit out of the way (an extra 100 miles) but so worth it so see the kids excitement!

Room and staff was great. The only problem we had was that the bed was very hard.

I really enjoyed staying here. The hotel and the hotel grounds were neat and clean. This hotel is close to the interstate, uptown Charlotte, 10 minutes from Carowinds and many restaurants and shops. Great hotel and excellent staff! Will definitely stay again.

We were looking for a place where we would not be crowded since there were 4 of us girls making the trip. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into a beautifully decorated lobby, greeted by a very courteous receptionist, were quickly checked in, and into the room we went! Absolutely LOVED the room layout! Entrance revealed a sofa, coffee table, end table and then a small fridge, microwave, and desk. We had 2 beds (which were very comfortable) and the bathroom was of sufficient size to accomodate all 4 of us. Having the shower and toilet in a spacious, separate room from the dressing mirror and sink made it easy for us to "swap around" to get ready in the mornings! Loved having space to move around and not feel crowded no matter where we were at in the room! (You know how us women can be!) Also loved the indoor hot tub! After a long day of shopping, it was great to relax our tired bodies and unwind from the day! The breakfast was like any other complimentary meal - basic, but filling. Good enough for starters! If I had anything bad to say, it would be that the chemicals in the hot tub were a little strong - made my eyes burn a little - but hey - is that a bad thing?! Overall - a most enjoyable stay.....will definitely be a top pick for us in the future!
