“Good location, easy to access”

Good choice for an overnight stay in Charleston. Next door you can find a comedy bar. Coffee at the lobby is espresso quality with free refills.

“Charleston Windham OK, but Vienna was so much better!”

I was pleased with this hotel . The beds are very comfortable, and it's always nice to have to remove pillows from the bed rather than call the front desk for more. I stayed here based on a previous experience with the Windham in Vienna, WV. After my experience in Vienna, I was ready to enjoy a restaurant- quality breakfast. The breakfast in the Charleston Windham did not compare. Overall, the hotel was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend a stay here, but encourage this hotel to upgrade its breakfast buffet.

“Great facilities, service so-so.”

Making reservations was easy. Check-in was un-settling. There was some staff difficulty finding our reservations, and the staff was non-talkative during the process. Made us wonder what was going on. But, the rooms were excellent; comfortable beds, good air circulation, amendities, etc. And, for a great price.

“Quick and Easy”

Clean rooms, free breakfast, nice place. The location was just what we were looking for with quick access to everything we needed.

“Nice, friendly hotel”

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and ready with my check in at 9:30 PM. The free breakfast was fine, with a nice variety from day to day. Convenient access from and to interstate.

“Good overnight stop”

Stopped at the Wingate as a midway point on our trip. Rooms were clean. Hot tub is nice. Free soft drinks and fruit were a plus for the kids. Included breakfast was surprisingly good. Overall a good overnight stop.

Clean spacious room. Free soda and coffee bar. Convenient location. Loved the shower head.

“Good fun”

Nice hotel with several extras that were unexpected. The hot tub was dirty and there was an old soap bar that was in the shower.. gross. but all in all a pleasurable experience.
