Evey single employee from the front desk personnel, to the restaurant hostesses, waiters and bartenders were extremely pleasant, cordial, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and relaxed, (and helpfully answered our touristy questions!) The room was peaceful and quiet, as I had requested, with an incredible ocean view, and was very nicely furnished, as was the entire hotel. There are ocean views throughout the lobby which has an elegant yet cozy seating area facing the ocean, as does the bar and dining room. I'm not surprised to know that the hotel's cusine is award winning; it was truly delicious! We stayed there on the off season, so I do not know what it is like when busy. Had a nice time strolling on the pier and very clean and lovely beach, teeming with bird life. - Everything exceeded my expectation!

The only complaint would be the loudness of the heating system in the room; otherwise, everything was top notch!

Spent my birthday on Folly Beach and this hotel is perfect...a bit pricey...but you pay for the spectacular ocean views and on the beach access. Fabulous fabulous fabulous!!!!! Will definitely return!

Clean, comfortable room with fantastic view over beach. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner. We would definitely come back.
