“Will be returning here to the isle of palms hotel”

From the minute we checked in and met the staff they were very friendly and helpful. Alisa greeted us with a smile! Our room was on the side of the hotet yet we had a great view of the ocean. The room was clean and comfortable. mornings were provided with eggs, french toast, bagels, fresh fruit, juices etc... which was more then a free 'continental' breakfast in my book... We would definatly stay here again. Each floor has a vending, soda & ice machines along with washers and dryers. The hallway has rooms on each side of it, with confortable benches, tables. Fans in this area would help circulate the air, since it is not completely open, but it is a nice area to sit if you need to get out of your room, while others are snoozing. The pool area was well maintained. On each side of the hotel are resturants, with nitely singers. During the week, the music stops at 10p and 11p on the weekends. This was great, to sit on the balcony and listen to it, if you choose. You couldn't here the music if you were in your room. We were extremely satisfied and will be returning next year. Great place. You can walk out onto the beach from the back of the hotel, and can rent chairs and umbrellas! Susan was very helpful on the days we rented them.Parking is across the street, which is a very short walk, 5o feet, to the hotel and the fee is 5.00/day. Which was no big deal, with all the walking we did downtown charleston which was only 20 min's away.

“TRIP TO CHARLESTON”

THIS IS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY. WE WERE TREATED VERY WELL. THE GM WAS ONE OF THE MOST PLEASANT I MANAGERS I HAVE MET THIS BUSINESS. HE TREATS ALL THE GUESTS AND EMPLOYEES AS IF EACH WAS A SPECIAL PERSON. GREAT PLACE WE WILL BE BACK

“Great Access to beach!”

While the local SWAT team had to lock down the hotel due to a criminal staying there, it was still a great location. So close to the beach!

“Don't pay full price--Great at a discount--would stay here again!!!!”

My husband, 2 boys (10 and 12 yrs), and I enjoyed our stay 5 nights (Sun-Fri.)at this hotel. We had an interior view room at a discounted price +small daily fee+ daily parking fee = great discounted price. This hotel is not worth it at full price. 1st experience with expedia and it worked out for us. The hotel staff was nice and friendly. Our room was cleanied good everyday. The pool was clean. For the price we paid, this place was worth it. I would stay here again at a discounted price. The parking lot is across the street and around the corner (easy assess to and from parking lot). Great beach location and only a short drive into Charleston. There were a few things that the management could work on like the loud and slow elevator, the baseboard near bathroom in our room needed repair, and our room key worked only when we pushed on the door really hard. Loud beach live band music from the neighboring bars will stop at 10:00pm (noise ordinance). Isle of Palms is a nice beach community--public safety was visible and we felt safe.

“Palms Hotel is Good Value with Nice Location”

We stayed at the Palms Hotel over spring break and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a great location on the Isle of Palms, close to all the attractions on the island. It was also located close enough to Charleston that we were able to go into the city several times. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast at the hotel. It offered a wide variety of food choices each morning of our stay. The only negative was our view. We had a "partial ocean" view, which allowed us to see the beach. However, we were situated directly over the patio/bar area of the restaurant next door. If we visit the Palms again, I will request a full ocean view room.

“Nice rooms, good beds right on beach”

Nice size rooms, well maintained. very clean and the staff was very accomodating. Pool is on second floor with view of street and stores in the area. Only have to worry about the local restaurant/bars that have live music. We were lucky, there was nothjing going on Sunday night.

“Really enjoyed it.”

I loved the convenience to the ocean front, easy access to our room, and balcony with side view of shore. Hotel service was excellent. Any issues that came up were addressed immediately and with true hospitality. The only downside were the Palmetto bugs. A couple got into our room, and a typical 9 year old girl, who had never seen such a thing was not so easy to deal with. All in all though, we did sleep well and had a great time!
