Mainstay Suites had the perfect combination of a very nice and helpful staff and spaceful, clean, and comfortable rooms. I'm so happy we chose this hotel over the many others in the area, and I'm always going to chose Mainstay Suites. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with the nicest staff who gave directions and helpful suggestions. This definately played a great part in how great our vacation turned out! We are moving to this location, and will definately be recommending this Hotel to our friends and family when they visit! Definately worth every penny!

“Good location, clean rooms, great breakfast”

The hotel was conveniently located just across the bridge from Charleston. Close to shopping and restaurants. Free breakfast in the morning was convenient and delicious. Would return again.

“Great trip”

We stayed at the hotel for a baseball tournament and found the room very nice and clean. The staff were very nice to the children.

“Home away from Home!”

Two separate bedrooms, extra pillows on the bed 2 bathroom, 2 happy parents and 2 sleeping young boys. Privacy is worth a million, but to have a comfy bed and extra pillows.....now that is what I am talking about. Will stay here again, boys were very excited about the duck and turtle pond in the back. A wonderfully cozy home away from home and good location too! Not to mention, on Tuesdays they cooked us hotdogs out back with drinks and chips at no extra charge perfect for kids who eat all the time!

We stayed at the Main Stay Suites in Mount Pleasant, SC. The hotel was in great shape and the hotel staff were great.

My daughter and I were participating in the annual Cooper River Bridge Run - on this weekend many Charleston Hotels require a 4 night minimum stay. A silly requirement in my opinion, especially since I have always stayed at and recommended one of this hotel's competitors - and this competitor would not give me a break either in the requirement OR on the price. Mainstay was much more convenient to the starting line for the race - we were able to walk to the race. Plus - there was just a 2 night minimum.

“Loved it”

Walked in to free adult beverages and chips and nachos. Staff was great, room was amazing, location is fantastic for anything you want to do. There is really nothing negative I can say about our visit there other than I wish it would had been longer.

Found this hotel when our usual hotel doubled their price for the weekend we wanted to attend the Scottish Games as Boone Hall Plantation. Very happily surprised at the features, which surpassed what we had gotten at our old place. The breakfast is adequate if you need to get a quick start on your day. Pleasant places to sit outside and enjoy. Great location for access to the Games and to the city.

“Great value for the money”

Totally satisfactory. Great walking right out the door for morning exercise. Handy access to downtown Charleston. Close to groceries, etc. Only issue was that we didn't realize it was a limited housekeeping place, not a problem - just a surprise.
