“Nice place to stay near downtown historic Charleston, SC”
without the downtown historic prices.
“A Perfect Location Between the Beach and Historic Downtown”
I had a really nice time in this hotel and it was very clean, colorful, quite at night, and the perfect location. The complimentary continental breakfast was FABULOUS! Waffles, oatmeal, french toast, cereal, fruit, boiled eggs, and the list goes on, it was definitely a big plus. The location of this hotel was perfect for my trip's goals which were to visit both the beach at Folly Island and Historic Downtown Charleston, S.C. The hotel was located in a separate out-of-the way area near a harbor that had nothing around but other exclusive hotels as our neighbors. The location made it feel exclusive and like a private resort area. Also, it was a straight shot with one turn into hyistoric downtown. It was also located right near the access highway to all the beaches. The hotel bathroom were very stylish, clean, and modern. I recommend it to any and everyone!
“Great stay!”
We had a great visit to Charleston. This was a nice motel -- easy to find -- friendly staff -- stuper continental breakfast -- nice clean comfortable room with comfortable beds -- great view of Ashley River. Be sure to stop and ask about the complimentary tickets. It was worth it and saved us LOTS of money!! Can't wait to return as there is LOTS more to see!

“LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT TIME”
WE ARE A FAMILY OF FOUR AND THIS WAS A GREAT GET-A-WAY FOR A GREAT PRICE. THE BREAKFAST WAS COMPLETE. THE DINING AREA WAS LARGE AND CLEAN. THE SERVICE AT THE FRONT DESK AND THE CUSTODIAL STAFF WAS EXCELENT. IT IS TRUE, YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY ALOT TO GET ALOT...
“Marina Living at it's best”
This LaQuinta was not only clean and inviting, the setting right on the marina was incredible. We enjoyed an afternoon in the pool and then dinner at a staff recommended restaurant the Crab House. The staff even had little direction cards for us to take with us. The information in the rooms about where to tour and visit was great and allowed us to maximize our time enjoying ourselves and not trying to figure out where things were located. Thank you for a great weekend get away.
“A nice hotel”
The hotel was very clean and the employees very kind. Breakfast was good. The hotel has a very good price/performance. A good restaurant was missing. There is a restaurant next to the hotel, but its cuisine is low class. If you don't have a car you are lost. No public transportation in this area.
“So convenient!”
We were skeptical of the quality of an economy-priced hotel in downtown charleston, but the laquinta was perfect. By no means luxury, but it was clean, roomy, convenient, and even offered free breakfast! Just what we needed. We will be back!
“Very Nice!!!”
Everything was great. Staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was great, had a lot to choose from & my son loved the waffles! The rooms were very clean. We were visiting The Citadel. Would absolutely go back!!!
