“excellent room for the money--people were very nice--we will go back!!”

The room had been recently remodeled--was spacious and clean--comfortable bed with recliner and table and chairs to sit comfortably--also has internet available and accepts our small pet(very important to us). Restaurant in parking lot was nice and good to have so close after a long drive--didn't want to get back into that car!!!

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the layout of the room. I spent a very comfortable night and enjoyed the continental breakfast as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I did not have the time to enjoy the pool. I would definitely recommend La Quinta as a quality motel.

“Nice for the price”

I was very impressed with the service offered- especially for the low nightly price. It was in a fairly convenient area and I felt safe there. I agree with the other reviewers about the parking, could've been better, but I don't mind walking. Check in and out was faster than I'd ever experienced (I think I kinda miss the personal touch, but that's the internet for you...) I would probably go back to this hotel.

This motel is great! The staff are very friendly. It is a newer motel with nice furnishings, very clean, has a pool and is quiet. The continental breakfast is very good.

“convenient and affordable”

We were looking for an affordable pet-friendly base for a low-country meal in Charleston before heading on to Edisto. La Quinta N. Charleston was perfect for that. Nice room w/ lounge chair and a nice desk chair, plus a new HD 32-inch TV that actually had a working on-screen channel guide that popped up first thing! (almost unheard of in a motel in my experience) Our particular room had no view, looking onto a first-floor stairway, but it was convenient to the grassy spot for pets. No problem, as sun went down at 5:15 and we were there just for an overnight. Friendly, efficient welcome from desk manager too.

“Very responsive management”

We had a couple of maintenance issues in our bathroom which we brought to the management's attention before breakfast. Management apologized and gave us a certificate for a free night's stay. We did not request the certificate; the manager came to our table and gave it to us.

“good deal for the price”

I was actually really surprised by how nice the hotel was. We had a microwave, an HDTV, free internet, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, an iron... Everything you need. Its about a 20 minute drive to the downtown area but its really not that bad. It is right next to the highway, but i didn't hear anything when I was sleeping. It was quiet, and clean. The continental breakfast is nice as well... waffles, cereal, fruit, coffee. If you are trying to save money, but still have a nice room... go here.
