“Fine place, tricky traffic.”

This hotel was just delightful. The staff was courteous and friendly. All the proper expectations about a hotel were beautifully met. I did have issues with the traffic layout. Ordinarily I don't get lost or get defeated trying to cope with traffic patterns in unfamiliar places. While I didn't get lost, I did find it difficult to get to understanding the road configurations in the neighhborhood of the hotel. Once at the hotel, there was no complaint.

“North Charleston - Hampton Inn Suites”

Very satisfied! Hotel was clean, parking always available, had plenty of selections with the Continental Breakfast that was provided and many places to dine out. Great place to stay if you don't mind driving a bit to downtown Charleston (approximately 10 miles).

“Great location!”

We stayed for a Charleston Southern University Spring football game and it was the perfect location. Staff was great, very accomodating. Only drawback was the ladies putting out the breakfast didn't have very much patience for the crowd.

“Awesome Park, Stay and Cruise Program A+++++”

Our group of 10 rooms were traveling to Charleston to sail on the Carnival Cruise Ship Fantasy on January 14, 2012. We were booked in the Park and Cruise program at the hotel. We all had a fast check in and were well rested the next morning. We arose early and enjoyed a very good breakfast before our driver Mr. Hamilton picked us up to take us to the ship. We were let out at the cruise provided bus that took us straight to the ship. Our luggage was loaded at the hotel by Mr. Hamilton and we did not have to touch it again until it was left outside our cabin on the ship. When we returned, Mr Hamilton was waiting at 7am to take the first group back to our vechicles. Can not give this hotel and Mr. Hamilton enough praise for the ease provided us. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is great except that one day the cleaning lady left the unclean papers in my sink after making the room.

Very nice hotel with comfortable and clean rooms. The bedding is excellent and the desk chair was cool too. The breakfast was good and it was nice to have a variety of coffee to choose from. There isn't much around the hotel in terms of decent restaurants. That is the only downside.

“Dirty”

The only thing that i can say about this hotel is it is close to the airport. It is dirty and poorly kept. Though it is a nonsmoking campus. You can smell smoke in the room.
