“Had a great time.....”

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel from Saturday to Monday morning. Breakfast was great.The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. Security was awesome I felt very safe to have my 13 year daughter in this hotel. I would absolutly stay again..

“Great Experience”

I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff. They were very helpful whenever I needed anything, and they gave me accurate directions to different locations in Charleston. The breakfast served was very fresh, and there was plenty of variety with something for everyone. The lady working the buffet worked very hard to keep everything stocked and she remained pleasant the entire time. In addition, the housekeeping staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the building was well maintained. My children and I enjoyed the pool area, which featured an indoor pool and a hot tub. There was also a fitness room which looked very good, however we did not make use of it. Its downtown location was very convenient to the places we visited. For instance, we were able to walk the 2 blocks to the Town Center Mall, and the Clay Center was only about a 3-minute drive. I would recommend staying at the Hampton Inn - Downtown for anyone wanting an enjoyable stay at a convenient location without spending an outrageous amount of money.

“Great pit stop!”

Wonderful stay! Everything was clean and the front desk service was very welcoming. Room was a perfect size for our party. Pool was just right. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection, even for my picky eaters. We'd stay here again for sure.

“Superb Rating”

I stayed in Charleston for just one night two weeks ago at another hotel that was awful. This trip, I booked my nights stay at Hampton Inn and it was SO MUCH BETTER. The entire experience was great!! Clean rooms, staff was friendly and courteous, the room was very nice, beds extremely comfortable and the hotel was close to nice places to eat and visit. I would absolutely stay here again! You know you will get quality with Hampton Inn!

“One small problem”

The only problem I had was the shower. The shower head was not working properly and was not repaired after I reported it. I was able to do a little jerry rigging and was able to use it satisfactorily.

“Mother's day outing”

Your hotel staff was courteous for the most part, but we requested a pack and play for our grandaughter and the gentleman bringing seemed put out that he needed to do this. Also for the price of the room there should have been glassware not paper cups for drinking our wine. Over all the hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. I would recommend to friends and would stay again (though I would bring my oun glasses)

“Nice and clean”

The whole hotel was clean, pleasant, and well-maintained. I liked our room's convenient "closet desk" with its multiple outlets, and the fact that the room smelled GOOD when we walked in. Well done, Hampton Inn! Free wireless was appreciated, too, and the free breakfast was quite nice. I would have liked a little refrigerator in the room; and we found the swimming pool to be too chilly and the hot tub too hot - but we used them a lot anyway, because we had a kid with us and those critters don't care about stuff like that.
