I asked for a quiet room and unfortunately because they were full I got the first floor room across from the maintenance room and laundry/vending. I stayed there 9 days last June and it was a great experience. I didn't realize they accepted dogs. One was a barker but did quiet down my bedtime. I'm not sure I'll stay there again. Staff was very friendly.

Good size room at an excellent value. Very helpful and friendly staff. Ten minutes from to downtown Charleston though the area does not have the charm or the noise. Grab and go breakfast is meager. Coffee and granola bars.

Matthew, the manager, gets kudos for managing this property well. He is well-spoken and well-mannered, as well as responsive and conscientious. He was helpful to me. The room was like a studio apt, and I made use of the kitchenette for a couple of meals. I didn't have much of the breakfast provided, but the coffee was excellent. I stayed two nights so I could visit Patriots Point and Ft. Sumter. This hotel is very conveniently located for those activities--less than 2 miles away. Additionally, I could walk to the local supermarket and eateries. The property is just over the Cooper River Bridge from Charleston, to the north. I was so glad I decided to stay there. I had everything I needed.

Overall was a very enjoyable stay but breakfast was as minimal as I have ever seen, could provide a little more. And room TV's small size is REALLY behind the times, definitely need to upgrade.

Pros: -Friendly Front Desk Staff -Location Near Several Restaurants, easy access to highway into Charleston, walking distance to Waterfront Park -Affordability -Pet-Friendly for our floofy boy Cons: -Outside door handle on room door was loose -Room showed some age (worn counter tops) -Few pillows on the bed, and small (requested two extras at front desk but was told they did not have any extras)

Booked 3 separate rooms for approx 2 weeks. There were roaches in 2 of the rooms including waking up to one in the bed! Also, this reservation and another Extended stay reservation had booking issues 3 separate times in a 2 week period in which I had to be on the phone for several hours to resolve because the hotel was missing the confirmation numbers even though the rooms were paid for.

I can’t give a review of the property because my reservation was given away. My family and I were scrambling at 11 o’clock at night in an unfamiliar area to find other accommodations. The staff offered no explanation and there was no offer to help find other accommodations.

I enjoyed my stay it was peaceful, the place and rooms has some updating to do but for the price it was ok! They let you know at the desk that cleaning is every 14days so if you need anything you have to bring what you used downstairs to replace it at the front desk. Breakfast is free but it’s to go! I got 1 issue this guy name mark at the front desk was kinda rude but I ignored it I ask him a question and he gave me responses as if I’m suppose to not ask or know the answer already such a jerk he being so rude he didn’t activate my key correctly because My 2nd night stay my key was deactivated I had to come back downstairs and get it solved by someone else on duty.

I won't stay here again
My stay was overnight. The room had a couple of large stains on the floor. The carpeted baseboards were falling off the wall. It smelled like cigarette smoke in the room. The hallway reeked of marijuana. There was an advertised breakfast, which turned out to be coffee with some snack bars. No one was at the counter at check out.
