“Pleasantly surprised considering the price.”
We chose an inexpensive hotel in the Charleston area as we were travelling on a budget. The Days Inn was clean and comfortable, the grounds were attractive and nicely landscaped. It was a good choice for a family hotel and not too far from historic Charleston.
“easy access”
very helpful , easy access off highway, near mall

“Great for a short stay”
I am an avid Dunkin coffee drinker...Glad there was one nearby...McDonalds next door...Pool was great. Would recommend this place to anyone with a quick stayover.
“Price versus expectations”
As the lowest priced hotel in Charleston on Expedia's list, I was very concerned about what to expect. The overall experience left me pleasantly surprised. We did not need a 1200 square foot room with two bathrooms and a personal assistant. We got two different rooms as requested, with good amenities, everything was clean. The a/c was loud in one room and quiet in the other (newer model. Daytime clerk at 2:45 said that I could not check in until 3:00, but otherwise was okay, better in the morning. 9:00 p.m. clerk was great. Breakfast was nice. Good choice for those that look at a room as a tool and not a prestige thing.
“Excellent Value for the Price”
If you are looking for a clean hotel a nice outdoor pool this is it. It is not the Ritz, but who cares. You want a place to lay down and sleep after a long day of soaking in Charleston, this is it.
“NIce, but noisy”
Recently remodeled, very nice. But it appears to be very close to an airport, and I was awakened a few times by airplanes passing very close overhead. Excellent free HOT breakfast, although they ran out of eggs by 8 AM the morning I was there.
“Good stay overall.”
Hotel staff was very polite and professional. One employee was at desk checking a customer in & the other was cleaning dining area. When I walked in she stopped cleaning the dining area & checked me in. Painless and pleasant check-in is always a good start to any stay. Rooms were clean, needs a good dusting in the places most people may not notice. Found a spider when going to bed. I know, it's the South! I always bring my own bug spray, Lysol wipes and spray no matter what hotel I check into. So I sprayed the spider. Hotel overall needs renovation update. May need exterminator. Requested handicap accessible room which we did not get. To be fair, Expedia does suggest to call the hotel ahead of time to make sure any special request can be accommodated; I did not. On one side of the hotel parking in handicap spaces does not mean you have easy room access unless you are in the very low one hundreds . Overall the experience was good. Slept well. It was quiet. It served my purpose of showering and sleeping. I was pleased to see that the room had working air condition, an iron, ironing board, blow dryer, fridge and microwave. Also, free WiFi and the person checking in before mentioned they had a dog; so they are a pet friendly hotel and breakfast starts at six for early risers. Can't comment on breakfast; didn't eat there.
