“Near the Heart of Charleston...GREAT LOCATION!!!”

This hotel was great!!! The rooms were comfortable, clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. The staff made check in very easy and the woman at the front desk was very helpful in pointing out how to get to local attractions (mostly food, haha.) The neighborhood is great and easily navigated through. Location of the Best Western was prime to the most major roadways. The hotel is very near the Charleston Mall and some great restaurants/eateries, sites and entertainment. Overall, great place to stopover for a night or a few days!

“Weekend retreat”

Stayed 2 days, hotel lobby, food area, elevators, hallways, room, bathroom in clean and excellent condition. Staff was friendly, attractive and prepared for my arrival. Bed was very comfortable. Continental breakfast was excellent, well stocked, large variety. Thank you for providing such a welcoming atmosphere for my weekend retreat.

“Best Western gets it right in Charleston”

Easy check in and check out, clean and comfortable room, neutral decor, low lighting that made getting to sleep easy, tremendous access from interstate, in heart of downtown near theater and other attractions. Hotel plant and furnishings in great shape. Staff was wonderfully attentive and efficient. Breakfast was a cut above most complimentary hotel breakfasts. Kudos!

“Good Value in Charleston, WV”

We travel through Charleston every Thangsgiving and have stayed at several hotels in the area. This was our first time at the Best Western and we were very pleased. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. It had a refrigerator and microwave. We didn't go out for dinner, but there are several restaurants in the area. We liked the downtown location, much better than the west side of town which is very industrial. We will definitely stay there again. It is a good value. FYI, Best Westerns do allow pets.

“Nice Place to Stay”

We were looking for place to stay near Tri-States gaming. The hotel was about 12 minutes away. The room was extremely clean, modern and comfortable. The outdoor pool wasn't crowded and very nice. Overall, a great place to stay.

Hotel was nice. Charleston had a lot of activity with a major car show. We were close to everything.

“My review”

Everything was good. My only complaint would be the hallways smelled bad. My first visit, it smelled like there was stale cigarette smells. This las visit, it smelled like someone was smoking weed. But once I got in my room the room smelled good, like it was scented with flowers. And my room was really dark both times. There should be a bright light by the mirror outside of the bathroom for us girls that use it to get dressed and put make up on. Also, the heat didn't warm up the room well enough. I was still very happy with the hotel though and will book again.
