Easy to get to off interstate 74.

Pros: Very clean. Front desk was very personable.
Location: Near a nice Meijer!
Didn't like having bathroom sink out in the open. Everyone else in room sees you wash your hands and things!

The hotel was fairly nice considering the price. The staff was nice and the room was a decent size. I wish there had been more choices for breakfast as all they seemed to have consisted of bagels, bread, waffles and biscuits with gravy.

Perfectly serviceable

Posted 21-Jun-2014
Pros: Basic amenities, clean, cheap.
Cons: Noise level, a few room updates.
Location: Downtown Champaign isn't far away - lots of great restaurants and bars.
I used this hotel as a stopover to break up a long drive out West. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just a place to sleep for the night. To that end, this hotel works just fine. It was clean, comfortable, and had the basic breakfast in the morning. It's also close to most things in Champaign, so it was easy to get dinner. My one complaint was the noise: I was put in a first-floor room right next to the lobby, and I could hear everything all night. The walls were also quite thin, so I could hear most of what was going on in the room next to mine. And being on the first floor meant that my window looked directly into the parking lot behind the hotel, which was also pretty noisy at all hours. It might be a good idea to request a room on one of the upper floors.

Nice hotel

Posted 6-Jun-2014
Me and my gf stayed here for a weekend getaway. First room was moldy, second room air conditioner didn't work. Third room was a charm, bed was super comfy and room was superior. The guy at the front desk was so helpful and friendly in accommodating the switches at no extra charge. Chris our housekeeper did and outstanding job cleaning the room. Breakfast was good not a lot to choice from but it was free so hey... Bad thing was a tournament was taking place and a bunch of kids were running around the halfway at 5:40am. Smh

Smoking Room

Posted 27-Apr-2014
Please know that if you end up in a smoking room it is still actively a smoking room. There are still ashtrays in the room and the entire room smells like an ashtray. Also, anything you take in the room will smell like an ashtray. We kept our luggage outside to air out for a day and a half after we got back because EVERYTHING stunk!

Thank you for leaving us your review! We're very sorry that you found our smoking rooms to be unpleasant during your stay. We are always concerned with making our guests comfortable and take steps to make sure our smoking rooms are cleaned and deodorized regularly. However, those rooms are regularly used by our guests who smoke, so there is always a bit of an odor left behind. If you'd like to guarantee a non-smoking room for yourself for next year's marathon weekend, we suggest booking as soon as possible! Much Appreciated, The Management Team

Nice hotel

Posted 17-Apr-2014
Pros: Comfortable room, nice staff, clean hotel
Nice, clean hotel with a good, comfortable room. Not sure what there is to do in the nearby area, as i was there for one night between two other cities. There is a good German style restaurant across the street with beer coming from their Milwaukee micro brew factory.

Pros: Right off freeway with many restaurants around.
Cons: Cleanliness
Looked a little worn out, and could have been cleaner.

Decent hotel for the price.

This hotel was decent for the price and was easy to find. We just needed a place to stay for the night as we were just passing through.

Rundown

Posted 7-Mar-2014
The hotel is not in very good condition. It's pretty rundown and very old. The breakfast was pretty bad. Overall, there's better places in Champaign-Urbana to stay for the same price.

For construction workers

Posted 29-Jan-2014
I have stayed here several times for construction in town. The breakfast is always decent and coffee is good. There are free cookies at front desk in the afternoon. For what you pay it is a good deal.
