“Not bad. Nice place”

It was clean and quiet. Would stay there again and would recommend to my family and friends.

“Clean, comfortable and convenient.”

I stay here on occasion to break the travel from NYC to NH's White Mtns. It is convenient to the highway and reasonably priced considering I literally stay just to get a good night's sleep. I have not availed of the breakfast or the pool facilities but the place is always clean and well-maintained. The surrounding area is quiet at night.

“Very satisfactory”

The Lodge provided for what we needed, clean room in a safe environment. The breakfast in the lobby was a nice perk and all in all the Lodge is in good shape.

“It was okay”

For a one night stay, this hotel wasn't that bad. However, we were awakened early in the morning by some type of room renovation in the room next to ours. There was loud hammering and conversations which made it difficult to sleep.

“Better than expected”

We had seen quite a number of negative reviews about this hotel, but since Dartmouth had its homecoming weekend and we were late with booking, there was little other choice. It was however better than expected. The room was clean and spacious, and all installations worked properly except the WI-FI signal which was too weak for our computer to work properly (our room was located in the building farthest from the reception). The staff was helpful. We noted however a strong unpleasant smell when entering our room (like cold cigar odor - although a stiff penalty is charged if you smoke in the non-smoking rooms). Some of the carpets in the staircases need replacement which creates a somewhat run-down atmosphere. End of breakfast time at 9 a.m. even for weekends seems somewhat unflexible.

“For a two star hotel you can't expect more”

It is a very common hotel it has just the indispensable. It did not look very secure to me.

“Not impressed”

Reception area was bland with an inexperienced clerk. Hot tub in pool area was not working and smelled. Room should be rated no more then 1 1/2 stars. Holes in the walls, wallpaper falling off in bathroom, baseboard falling apart, screen in window was bent and hanging half off. Reported condition to clerk with no concern for our stay. Definitely will not stay in another Econo Lodge
