“Don't ever take a smoking room”

The room stank of stale smoke, and the next day, all our clothes and the contents of our suitcases stank too. Apart from that the room amenities were adequate, I suppose, but overall I wish we had just paid 10 or even 20 dollars more for someplace decent. The price on this was not low enough to make the mediocrity and stink tolerable.

“Not impressed”

We are a mature couple and chose this hotel due to price and convenience for our journey around New England. You get what you pay for - the room was very reasonably priced, very small. Staff, particulary Virginia, were very helpful

“will not go back”

will never go to a Rodeway Inn again if this is the way they do business. They need to inspect their rooms a little closer.

“Ok if you want to sleep for night only.(cost wise cheap)”

Hotel is not maintained to the mark. pros: 1. location wise close to killington ski area and 100N for fall colors. 2. beds are very comfortable to sleep. 3. parking is comfortable. 4. nearby hotels.subway-piza hut- tacobell. Issue found : 1. Bathroom is small and door was jammed and not closing completely. 2. Internet-wifi provided but we can not seach (i.e google.com do not work) or from any site like yahoo etc if you try to search any content search will not work. only direct sites and links work. 3. continental breakfast but milk is provided in small container only sufficient for coffee can not have milk only. also no cereals.

“stole our things during the day!”

We checked in and everything seemed ok with the place. Minus the drug deals happening across the way based on the frequency of visitors to one room. The first night we stayed heat was not an issue but the heat in the room didn't work the second night when we returned to the room. We also discovered that the bottle of vodka we left to chill in the mini fridge was missing after being gone all day. Also we discoved that an expensive bottle of cologne walked out the door too! We friend to ask the management about the issues and received very little help as english was not spoken well. Heat the last night consisted of a small space heater that was brought to our room after 2 phone calls to the main office. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Terrible!

“Motel vieillot”

Chambre petite et salle de bain vétuste. Chambre bruyante car proche de la route principale. Avantage : possibilités de restauration nombreuses proches du motel

“Poor customer service”

The biggest gripe is with the service when we needed to check out. I had the room for 1 night with my fiance, I was in Rutland for an job interview in the morning. I was running late and didn't get a chance to call back to tell the staff until about noon, but couldn't really understand the lady(there was an elderly Indian woman and man that were there, not sure if they are the owners or what..) Come to find out when I talked to my fiance when I got back at 2 is they kicked her out of the room at 11. The maid came to try and clean at 9:30, then 10:30, then the man came at 11, was rude and told her she had to go, watching her pack up, telling her to turn off the tv, etc.. So she went to wait in the office until I got back, and the man continued to berate her and scold her and basically make her feel like crap and in so many words made it clear he didn't want her waiting in the small office/lobby. So she had to wait outside in the Vermont winter for two hours until I got back. The whole ordeal for her was completely uncalled for, especially when most of the rooms were clearly vacant(it was a Monday). Besides the horrendous customer service, the place was what you'd expect for a hotel of that price. Our room was fairly clean, a couple of the towels had little stains, I've stayed in worse, but the hot water didn't work in the faucet(did in the shower) and the thermostat was kind of hard to get right because it didn't have any temperatures on it.

“You get what you pay for”

This was the second time I stayed here, and unfortunately found a big difference. Beginning with the fact that our room had not been vacuumed, then the mattress was wrapped, using duct tape to secure it, with heavy plastic. You don't want to move on the bed because the crinkling was maddening, and worse the sheets slide off leaving you laying on the plastic. Though it was nice to have windows that open, our sleep was interupted by the drunken guests swimming and yelling at 2 in the morning. We opted to stay here as we were only in town for one night and just needed a place to sleep. The room still ended up costing more than it was worth. I won't stay there again!

“disappointing”

bathroom is in major need of an upgrade - reminded me of some college housing bathrooms. WiFi was pitiful - only had 2 bars and kept throwing me off.
