“Comfy Inn”
This is not the cheapest hotel in the area but judging from some others I have stayed in it is worth the price for comfortable, well-deigned rooms and good service.
“quiet hotel yet near restaurant, bank, and near highway and local roads”
Very good service. Quick check-in and out. Room good size, clean, and well kept. Would stay again. Good for families. Convenient to Norwich, VT and Hanover, NH
“UPS Facility”
Only problem was a UPS facility adjacent to the back of the hotel. No problem during a weekend but during the week the fleet gets going at five in the AM and does not stop for an hour or two. Not good for sleeping.
“Comfort Inn, White River Junction”
The hotel was exactly what I expected after reading these reviews. I did ask the front desk clerk where we might go to get some dinner. She told me Kountry Kitchen, the Chinese Buffet, or McDonald's. I discovered after reading a map that if we hopped on the Interstate, went up two exits and drove 1 mile, we would be in Hanover, NH, the campus of Dartmouth, and plenty of great restaurants. The hotel was fine. It was incredibly convenient to our travels.

Traveled with teenager to sporting event. Comfortable room with double beds and diner across the street.
“Good Hotel”
It was what I expected. It was a room with a bed. The hotel isnt very modern, but they had a HDTV which was good so my boyfriend could watch sports. The bathroom was clean and the sink is separate from the toilet and bath tub, so I could get ready while my boyfriend did his thing. We had to call the front desk three times to get an answer. White River was doing a Halloween thing that night, so we went out and enjoyed that. The town is great, the hotel is your typical hotel. I'd give it a solid 3 out of 5.
“Shabby, but Clean and Friendly”
I was traveling for business, and brought my dog along. I picked this hotel because they allowed dogs, and booked a reasonably-priced suite. The room was clean, but the furnishings were old, worn, and sparse. Not all of the lamps worked, and the room was dim. The room was badly in need of renovation, and the hall carpet was in similar condition. On the plus side, the room was clean, breakfast was adequate, and they welcomed my dog, even greeting him by name.
“Disappointed”
It took about 15 minutes before getting hot water in either sink or shower. Shower wall was cracked. When booking with Expedia, I had requested a non-smoking room =- only available rooms upon arrival (at 2:45 pm) were smoking.
“Find another hotel”
They tried to give us a smoking room saying that was all that was available. We had our daughter with us. We asked them to find us another hotel. They then said they had a room with a double bed and a coach. The A/C did not work and the halls of the hotel are dark and worn out. No service with a smile at this place.
